The following Assessment Tasks must be completed by you to enable you to demonstrate these skills. These must be
conducted:

Using the simulated business Bounce Fitness or

In your own workplace if you can access all the documents and conduct all the activities.

Ensure that you gain the approval of your Assessor before commencing.

The documents you will require if you are using the simulated business Bounce

Fitness can be found on the Bounce Fitness website:

Task 1 Theory: Short Answer Questions

1. This task requires you to demonstrate that you can apply theoretical knowledge to manage programs
with a health and wellbeing focus. The unit addresses management of a range of programs that
would typically be associated with health and wellbeing such as stress management, smoking
cessation, exercise, and general Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs).

1a. Conduct some research and prepare a report ensuring that you obtain information on employee
workplace health issues and associated concerns.
Use data and statistics to prove you case. A good source of health information can be found on
www.abs.gov.au

Task 2 Case Study – OPTIONAL

Margaret House, CEO of Bounce Fitness, has decided to look at implementing a new benefit to the Employment
Assistance Program (EAP). The current program does not address specific issues; rather it speaks generally about the
provision of support. MS House wants to include some specific initiatives for dealing with different specific issues.

She is concerned that the overall fitness of Head Office staff, is lacking because they spend most of their day sitting
behind a desk. She has asked you to do some research on this issue. There is a café available on site and there is a
choice of healthy food mixed with cakes for morning and afternoon teas

Task 2 Project: Research

Using an organisation of your choice or the Bounce fitness Case study above you are required to
2. collaboratively plan and implement a health and wellbeing program. You can discuss your new EAP
with your training group to share ideas and gain more knowledge.

2a. Prepare a report on your workplace health and wellbeing issues. Use statistics to prove your case.
Statistics can include percentages of sick leave, compensation, insurance premiums, medical costs or
other industry relevant information.

You will receive your user name and password in an email from the administration team within the first week of your course. If
you do not receive this email or are having trouble logging in please let the administration team know.

Student Submission Procedure


There are two steps you need to complete to submit your assignment via the Online Learning Centre:
1. Add Submission – this uploads your documents into the Online Learning Centre. You can download and edit the
submission as many times as you like. Please note that adding the submission is not the same as submitting the
assignment.
2. Submit Assignment – after adding your submission if it is ready to be submitted for marking you will need to select
“submit assignment”. Once your assignment is submitted you will not be able to make any more changes to it. Your
assignment will then be marked by the trainer.

Adding a Submission
1. Save your assignment with a file name as instructed above.
2. Login at http://eagleacademy.com.au/onlinelearningcentre/login/
3. Find the course that you are enrolled in
4. Find the unit that the assignment belongs to
5. Select “Digital Assessment”
6. Select “Add submission”
7. Drag & drop the assignment into the submission box. Or open the file picker page and select the document you want
to upload.
8. Select “Save Changes”
9. Your assignment is now saved as a draft. You can edit your assignment at any time while it is a draft. Do not press
“submit assignment” if it is not ready to be submitted to the trainer for marking.
