This document give an account of the EML500 components.

EML500-HV1/HV2 Sensor
Magnetic field is generated by Core and Coil exiting current
provided. The magnetic field moves in seawater along with the
ship.

Sensor cable (LS503)

It is used between the sensor element (LS501(LS591:
Rodmeter), LS571, LS572) and the junction box .
- Cable length : Maximum 50m
- Outline : φ10.8
Sea valve (HV type)

Seawater valve
- Components models The sea valve prevent permeate sea water.
Structure of the sea valves are agreed in the requirement of
each country classification.

Rodmeter (LS591)
It used for between sensor and sensor cable (Double-bottom
(HD) type sensor). Rodmeter length is select by the length of
between bottom plate and upper mount plate. (250mm pitch)

Protection tube (LV905)

Protection tube is used for double bottom place it is water proof.
Material : Brass ------------ NK, LR, DNV
SUS304 -------- ABS

Lower flange (LV904)

- Components models (Dual-axis) It supports the protection tube.

Mounting plate for seawater valve (LV902A)

It is used for install the seawater valve at the bottom plate.
In case of double bottom type sensor, it is necessary mount
plate for lower flange. Material of mounting plate should be
selected the same material with the bottom plate.
We recommend to arrange the mounting plate by shipyard
order.

Zinc plate (LV901)

Zinc plate is used for preventing the electrolytic corrosion of
ship’s bottom parts.
We recommend to arrange the mounting plate by shipyard
order.
