Goal is protect the healthcare & pandemic response system and reduce COVID 19 mortality
COVID-19 vaccination :
• Registration of 18-45 yrs age grp has started from 28th April, 2021.
• Vaccine will be purchased by state government, Pvt. Hospitals & industrial units
from manufacturer.
• 50% of total stock manufactured will be supplied to above 3 categories as per
order.
• Pvt. Hospitals & industrial units (Workplace CVCs) will have to purchase vaccine
directly from manufacturer.
• Registration of new private CVCs and industrial units to be done in Co-Win portal.
• Industrial Units can collaborate with Pvt. Hospital but hospital will be termed as
workplace CVC.
COVID-19 vaccination :
• All the Pvt. Hospitals & industrial units MUST take permission from district/corporation
authority i.e. CDHO/MOH.

• All CVCs must fulfil 4 criteria laid down by GoI.

1. Sufficient cold chain equipment.

2. 3 rooms as per guideline

3. Trained vaccinators & V.O.s

4. Ability for AEFI management as per guideline.

• All Hospitals & industrial units must apply to CDHO/MOH. (request letter + Self declaration of
availability of all criteria.) Format

• Application to be done only after procuring vaccines.

• Vaccination must be started only after approval & Co-WIN registration.

COVID-19 vaccination :
• Registration of 18-45 yrs age grp has started from 28th April, 2021.

• Online registration is mandatory for 18-45 yrs age groups. (NO ON-SITE
REGISTRATION).

• Only appointment based vaccination to be done for 18-45 yrs & above 45 yrs.

• Create online sessions.

• SMS will be sent to beneficiary who book online appointment.

• Only appointment booked beneficiaries are eligible for vaccination.

• Beneficiary must show SMS/appointment slip at the session site.

• 4 digit OTP will be sent that has to be shown at CVC.

Create Private/Workplace CVC
• District/ Corporation immunization officer can register new private CVCs who
have procured vaccine on their own.
• For Workplace CVCs : For employees only, on spot registration
• 2 sessions for same vaccine can be created for both the age group i.e. 18+ and
45+
• Ensure sessions are not cancelled once published
• Ensure training of Vaccinators on vaccinator module of COWIN
• Vaccinator should ask for appointment message or appointment slip for 18 to 44,
Display of “No on-site or walk ins ”
• Ensure Aadhar authentication to avoid duplication and misuse.
Declaring Vaccine Doses and Vaccine Price by Private CVCs.
• Private CVC Manager can login to CoWIN Portal and Navigate to “Vaccination Centres”
Tab.

• Under “Actions” option, CVC Manager can click on Setting Icon to update vaccine doses

for the Session followed by Selecting Vaccine and updating its Price. (OTP

Authentication mandatory for site manager)

• CVC Manager can Create and Publish the session by clicking on Manage Sessions under
Actions Tab.

• CVC Manager can create session for multiple Vaccines on same day.
