The Alarm.com platform opens a whole new world to the NEO’s capabilities:

• Z-Wave control of lights, locks and thermostats

• Partition controls – each partition independently or as groups
• Arming and Disarming control via smart devices (cell phone, computers, tablets)
• Notifications sent to the end users via SMS text or email messages
• Plus a whole lot more…

Tech Note: The panel MUST be a v1.1+ and the HS2LCD keypads should
be v1.11+.

Tech Note: If the panel or keypads do not meet the minimum requirements
listed above, they should be replaced or Flash Upgraded using
the DLS5 Flash Wizard; before trying to install the Alarm.com
module.

Tech Note: The Flash Upgrade must be done through the PCLink process
prior to installation the 8080 module.

Notes:

• All NEO panels must be v1.1+ for Alarm.com – Flash Upgrade is available.

• All LCD keypads must be v1.1+ for Alarm.com – Flash Upgrade is available
for hardwire keypad only.

• Wire Free LCD must be v1.1+ (which manufacturing started on Jan 13, 2015)
(no Flash Upgrade is available – hardware replacement only.)

• Alarm.com functionality is only compatible with LCD’s v.1.1+ and the

HS2TCHP’s.

• All HS2TCHP’s from original release are compatible with Alarm.com. However,
interactive “Press and Hold” for signal test, cell strength, etc. is not available on
the touchscreens – the Dealer can access these features from the Interactive
Menu within the*6 User Menu.

• Older keypad (<1.1) do not support the Alarm.com functions (“Press and Hold”
functions, Message Banner, access to Section 851), but can be used on the NEO
for standard panel operations not related to Alarm.com.

• The Alarm.com (8080) module can be installed up to 100 ft. from the control
panel and is wired using 6 Conductors. 2 Conductors for Power, 4 Conductors
for the RS-422 interface.
