IMPORTANT COMMENCEMENT INFORMATION STADIUM ACCESS and PARKING UDHS Commencement is an important event that draws an attendance of several thousand people. As you plan for the event, we encourage arriving early, a walking, or carpooling with friends, neighbors and classmates. Upper Dublin Police, Fort Washington Fire Company Fire Police, District Staff, SiteWatch and APC. Security will be on-site at the high school, SPARK and the Township Building to direct traffic and guide you toward the two entrance gates into Cardinal Stadium. Special traffic and parking patterns are used for this event. Please follow posted signage, barricades and verbal directions. ** STADIUM ACCESS ** Recess to Cardinal Stadium is from two locations: (1) the “Home Gate" which is accessible by using the steps from the Cafeteria Parking Lot; and (2) the “Visitors’ Gate” on the SPARK Drive/Cardinal Stadium Drive side of the property Exercise caution when walking in all parking lots. If walking along Cardinal Stadium Drive, please use the designated pedestrian path (side closer to the tennis courts) UDHS & TOWNSHIP BUILDING PARKING AREAS & ACCESS ‘* PARKING LOTS: Athletic Complex, Performing Arts, Administration, Pool, SPARK Drive FIELDS OF DREAMS GRAVEL LOT past Fields of Dreams concession stand and batting cages ‘TOWNSHIP BUILDING — Main Lot only ON-STREET PARKING — follow direction provided by the Fort Washington Fire Police FORT WASHINGTON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL — walk along Fort Washington Ave. SPARK DRIVE PARKING AREAS - UDHS ATHLETIC COMPLEX & SPARK FIELDS * Access from Loch Alsh Ave, or Susquehanna Road, ‘Once UDHS + SPARK ots are full, entrances will be barricaded with traffic directed to lots accessible cy Ave. Only those eligible for Handicapped Parking will be permitted access to SPARK Drive. HANDICAPPED PARKING + SPECIAL FIELD-LEVEL SEATING ‘A special sued Handicapped Parking dashboard sign, handicapped placard or handicapped license plate is required to access this parking area, Please have the dashboard sign in view (front left side of dashboard) for traffic control officers and parking attendants. ‘+ Information about how to obtain a dashboard sign is found in a Special Senior Bulletin distributed to students. + Tickets for field-level seats issued with each handicapped dashboard sign are limited (person requiring special assistance plus 1); other guests will be directed to the bleachers. + Handicapped Parking Lot: From SPARK Drive turn onto Cardinal Stadium Drive (roadway to Cardinal Stadiums Visitors’ Gate) and continue a short distance to the marked drop-off point. Once passengers needing special assistance are dropped off, the driver will continue on into the adjacent Athletic Complex parking lot ‘+ When exiting, follow the designated traffic pattern to pick up passengers needing special assistance. Certain driveways and roadways are designated “one way" during this event.
