Pastor Tim wrote on March 30th:
For those who have made it a point to
encourage her in different ways, I want to
thank you so, so much. I have been reminded
in this season of resurrection that when I am
discouraged and ever so gently begin to
question the love and care of our Father in
heaven, I need only look to the cross of Christ
to once again be reminded that He was
abandoned so that I would never have to be.
He experienced wrath
so that I could
experience God’s love.
It is there for us.
It is there for you.

Meet baby Karas,
3 months old. His
parents are Coptic
Christians from
Egypt.
Marie helped them
with items they
needed for the baby.
recently came, that only God
could arrange when a
neighborhood business owner came through our
doors to alert us of a woman in crisis in her rear
parking lot, adjacent to our office. The business
owner knew we offered free outreach and thought
we could help this young lady. Through
compassionate encouragement, she agreed to come
into our office for help. One of our counselors was
able to powerfully share the Gospel with her as she
was in the midst of a valley in her life situation.
Despite coming from a Muslim background she
freely received and was curious about this Jesus we
professed as Messiah. At the conclusion, weeping,
she requested a full Bible to read for herself the
scriptures shared of who Jesus says He is. Please
keep Jas* in prayer for revelation, salvation, and
restoration.
Prayer Point: Lord, please prepare hearts,
that Your Word may fall on good soil.

Silvana, Gateway’s Thursday evening Union counselor writes this: To God be the glory, who helps us and
guides us to share the gospel of Christ. Milly* is a broken vessel who was abused by her uncle. When we
started talking she was reluctant to the gospel because she grew up in church and her uncle and grandmother
claim to be believers. She stopped going to church because she felt forced to do so. Silvana told her she
didn’t have to share if she felt uncomfortable. This was used by the Lord to allow her to share the abuse she
received at the hands of her uncle and grandmother. She realized that she had been blaming Christians,
stating that she had ‘judged Christians as hypocrites because of her grandmother and uncle’. She prayed to
trust Christ as Savior and Lord. Pray for her complete healing from her past abuse.
