NOTE: If reworking EMI braid terminators at connectors, it is permissible to poke new wire
through the black expando and metal braid and tie shield tails to the EMI rings of the
backshell. Cover the wire where it pokes through the braid using SS7072A0125Z030
shrink tubing to protect the wire. If braid terminators are reworked, rebuild using a 600-
052-1 band, A-A-59163. DMYNO-6A669-001 (#361x3/4” tape glass cloth) and 3M-60
tapes and part NO. SS7072M3000Z017 4:1 shrink tubing. Tapes shall be locally
procured by the installer of this mod kit.
NOTE: Helicopters 920006 through 920162 have overhead console switch panel
harness assembly (92552-01106-045) and helicopters 920163 and Subsequent
have overhead console switch panel harness assembly (92552-01106-046).
(1) Remove overhead switch panel (92550-01320) to gain access to overhead console switch
panel harness assembly (92552-01106-045) or (92552-01106-046). Refer to Maintenance
Manual, SA S92A-AMM-000, Task, 31-10-01-900-001.
NOTE: All new wiring shall be secured to existing wiring harnesses using best shop
practices for selection of clamps and hardware as well as standard helicopter
electrical methods for use of cable ties (tiedown straps) and string tie (lacing tape).
NOTE: Use the overhead switch panel wire group 92552-55078-041 for wires, contacts,
terminal lugs, and wire harness assembly parts. New and modified wires near
affected switch will be reidentified as wire group 92552-55078-041 using a fine
point permanent marker and supplied identification sleeves.
(2) At SERVO switch S140, remove wire (W2220F22) between terminal 5 and 9.
