Brief Description of Session:
This session described basic principles of cardiac physiology and offered cases for learners to apply this
physiology. Nick used the educational tactic of threshold concepts to present these basic principles to
learners and gave them opportunities to practice their application.

This population of learners is hard in that you may not know what they know/don’t know (ie RNs)
You taught in a hybrid environment with some learners present in the room, some virtually and
some who will watch asynchronously. That is a real challenge and you seemed to handle it with
ease.
