CONFIRM WITH AN ENGINEER


[ ] Is the item or part correct for the customer’s printer specs AND size?
[ ] Is the item or part all that is needed to fix the customer’s printer or issue?
[ ] If not, is the customer aware of what else must be procured?
[ ] Do we have an instructional video recorded?
[ ] Do we have written instructions typed up?
[ ] Have the Engineer sign below once you have the instructional video AND the instructions.

STOP - GIVE PAGE 2 TO THE PERSON PACKING THE BOX


First copy the Item, Order #, & Customer Name to Page 2. Proceed once the Packer brings it back to you.
[ ] Verify the contents of the box.
[ ] Check both the item and the packaging.
[ ] Check that PAGE 2 is complete and sign the bottom, then attach it to this first page.
[ ] Print the instructions with a packing contents slip and add both to the box.
[ ] Close the box.
[ ] Ensure all sides are taped securely.
[ ] Weigh the fully packaged box.

[ ] Tell the customer to send us a shipping label.
[ ] Include the weight and our address.
[ ] Email the instructional video and instructions to the customer.
[ ] Print two (2) copies of the shipping label once received.

[ ] Attach one copy of the shipping label to this checklist and one copy to the box.
Wait for the shipping service to pick up the package and sign below once it has been collected.

ALL PACKAGES MUST BE PHOTOGRAPHED DURING THE PACKING PROCESS. AS THE PACKER
YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR TAKING THESE PHOTGRAPHS AND SENDING THEM TO THE OFFICE
STAFF SO THAT MUDBOTS HAS THEM ON FILE. THE OFFICE WILL CONFIRM AND CLOSE THE BOX.

DO NOT CLOSE THE BOX YOURSELF

PACKING INSTRUCTIONS
[ ] Take a picture of the item.
[ ] Take multiple pictures if the item is large, complex, or fragile.
[ ] Weigh the item.

[ ] Find an appropriately sized box.
[ ] Reinforce the bottom of the box.
[ ] Mark the top of the box and which direction is up.
[ ] Wrap the item.
[ ] If the item is fragile be extra thorough.
[ ] Secure the item to the bottom on the box.
[ ] Take a picture of the inside of the box.
[ ] Add a generous amount of packing material around the item.
[ ] Take a second picture of the inside of the box with the packing material added.
[ ] Send all the pictures (3 minimum) by email only to sonya@mudbots.com.

[ ] Forward all the pictures to the customer.
Remember to photograph the item being loaded if it is larger and send those photos to the customer too.
