• Undergraduate from the University of Lethbridge 2021.
• Graduated with a combined degree in Social Studies Education and General Social
Sciences

• First year in university in Arts and Science, Major in Biology & Psychology, Minor in
History.
• High School Graduate from Parkland Composite High School 2016.
o With Academic Honors/Principal’s Award and Athletics Award

Teaching Experience:
• Short term temporary teaching position at École Westhaven Elementary School teaching
grades 2/3 (May/June)
• Worked for 2 weeks subbing at Pine Grove Middle School and Parkland Composite High
School, grades 6-12.
• Lead teacher for University of Lethbridge Swing Dancing, teaching beginner lessons to
youths and adults with up to 60 participants attending the lessons at one time.
• ED 2500, PS1, PS2 and PS3. Instructed Social Studies, Science, English, Math, Physical
Education and Health in different grades including grade 2, grade 4, and grade 6.
• Facilitated activities with young children at the FCSS Parent Link Centre as well as in
Edson parks.
o Children were ages 1-5 at the Center but up to age 8 in the parks.
• Assisted with coaching Parklands Track and Field team.
• Middle School Volleyball assistant coach.

Work Experience:
• Grande Yellowhead Public School Division 2021- Ongoing
o Short term temporary teacher in a combined 2/3 class. Volunteered to meet the
students for 2 days before my official start date which coincided with the start of
online learning.
o Casual Education Assistant. I supervise numerous classes when substitute
teachers are unavailable for grades 6-12.
• Edson Weyerhaeuser OSB summer 2018-2020.
o I was one of 2 students on our crew for clean-up.
o We were also able to work as operators on the production line.
 o Was able to take many opportunities for overtime with janitorial as well as an
operator on the line.
• Town of Edson FCSS for 4 months in the summer of 2017.
o Community Services event coordinator. Responsibilities included: Advertising,
program development, community connections.
o Parent Link Center coordinator and facilitator. Monitoring children’s activities
and creating engaging learning sensory experiences for children.
o Park Play, program leader with the Community Green Shacks throughout the
summer obtaining continuous positive support from the community.
• Foothills Automation and Controls September 2013-August 2016.
o Cleaned the shop and
offices.

Volunteering:
• Facility coordinator for the elementary school track and field day.
• Mini basketball coach and timekeeper.
• Volleyball and Basketball Referee.
• Town of Edson volunteer: Eddies Big Run, Canada Day Celebration, and Sundays in the
Park. Assisted with maintenance and preparation.
• Helped Pine Grove Middle School with costume creations for their musicals.
Tech time coordinator for One Act Festivals (2013-2018)
• Teacher, assistant for Community Swing Bridge Dance and assisted with set up and take
down.
• A mentor with University of Lethbridge residence Mentorship Program for first year
students.

Hobbies/Interests:
• I am a lover of books and a craft fanatic.
• I was an active member of the university and community swing dance community.
• I love to sing/act and had roles in all musicals in elementary, middle school and high
school.
• I was part of the Vocal Harmony Singers Club on campus for 4 years.
• Participated in Track & Field, Cross Country, Basketball, and Volleyball throughout
school. I continued basketball intramurals at the university for two years as well as
joining the martial arts club in my second year. I greatly enjoyed them all.
• I have traveled to fourteen countries around the world and love the new experiences, the
cultures, histories each has provided.
• I am an avid photographer.
