NARRATIVE REPORT ON GENERAL PTA ASSEMBLY 2018

The General Assembly of Parent’s Teacher Association (PTA) is one of the


associations in the school that plays a vital part in providing the children a conducive
and safe environment for them to participate actively in teaching-learning activities and
enjoy their stay in school premises until the end of the day.

Pandi Residences Elementary School fosters a positive and nurturing climate in


which our pupils, parents, faculty and staff feel welcome, safe and supported. We are
committed to discovering each child’s unique potential by addressing individual social,
emotional and academic needs. It is our desire that each of our students will develop a
love for learning that will inspire them throughout their lives.

Our parents are an integral part of our school family. Parents are our partners in
education and are truly involved in each aspect of our school. Pandi Residences
Elementary School has an extensive parent volunteer program and a very supportive
and actively involved Parent Teacher Association. Each school year this group
generates many programs that provide enriching learning experiences for the learners.

In line with the yearly activity of the Department of Education, Pandi Residences
Elementary School conduct its first General PTA Meeting Assembly last June 29, 2018,
SY: 2018-2019 at 1:00 o’clock in the afternoon in which all the parents are present and
cooperate well.

The program starts by a welcome address given by our hardworking and


supportive Barangay Captain, Hon. Rogelio S. Leonardo. He welcome all the parents
commended the sense of commitment and readiness to work in every activities and
programs of the school and community and their ability to participate well. He also
remind the parents to support their child in every aspect of their lives specially in
developing their education believing that education is the most important endeavor
because it is only the key to a continuous progress and success.
The main purpose of the assembly is to discuss the following agenda:
 School Rules and Regulations
 School Discipline
 BSP/GSP Campaign
 Child Protection Policy
 Punctuality and Attendance
 Reading Readiness of the Pupils (Oral Reading)
 4P’s
 Test and Credentials
 Beneficiaries of School Feeding
 Canteen Proceeds
 MOOE

In addition, there was also an open forum between teachers and parents wherein
they were free to ask questions regarding to the agenda’s that had been discussed.
There were many questions raised that were answered well by the school staff.

The closing remarks is given by the Faculty President, Jonathan DC. Ramos and
in behalf of our school principal, Dr. Dolores T. Castillo also extend her deepest
gratitude and appreciation for the unending support of all the parents and other
stakeholders, mostly for the unceasing guidance of our Lord Almighty.

The assembly was then ended ensuring that all the matters that have been
discussed and agreed was fully understand by the concerned subject of this meeting
and still hoping and looking forward for positive outcomes.
