1. Recap previous lesson by asking pupils to name a few relative pronouns that they know.
2. Write pupils’ responses on the board to create a bubble map.
Pre lesson 3. Draw pupils’ attention to the sentences and ask them to read the sentences aloud. (TB page 39)
4. Tell pupils that the words in bold are relative pronouns.

6. Pupils work in pairs.
7. Distribute a task sheet to each pair.
While lesson 8. Pupils complete the sentences with the phrases given in the box. (Assessment)
9. Remind pupils to include ‘who’, ‘whom’, or ‘which’ before adding the phrases.
10. Discuss the answers with the pupils.
11. Distribute task sheet to pupils.
12. Pupils write sentences using the words and the correct relative pronouns (Assessment)
