LEARNING OBJECTIVES

M At the end of the lesson, most pupils will be able to read and mime at least 6 sentences correctly.

C At the end of the lesson, most pupils will be able to write at least 6 simple short instructions with support.

1. Show a video on healthy and unhealthy habits.


I. PRE-LESSON 2. Ask pupils to stand up and follow the actions.
3. Ask pupils to identify healthy habits in the video.
1. Display pictures of healthy habits.
2. Guide pupils to talk about the pictures.
3. Prompt questions to encourage active participation.
4. Display instruction strips on the board.
5. Read the instructions. Pupils listen and follow.
II LESSON 6. Then, get the pupils to read the instructions while doing the corresponding actions.
DEVELOPMENT 7. Organise pupils into groups. Appoint group leaders and distribute writing cards to them.
8. Then, pupils play a reading mime game. Group leaders will collect the completed writing cards
and guide the members to sequence the activities correctly. Pupils take turns to draw a card and
read the instructions. The rest of the group members will mime the actions.
9. Monitor and help as and when necessary.
10. Invite a few groups to role play the activity to the class.

III. POST LESSON 1. Pupils copy the sentences into their exercise books.

7. Distribute a task sheet to each pair.

10. Discuss the answers with the pupils.
11. Distribute task sheet to pupils.
12. Pupils write sentences using the words and the correct relative pronouns (Assessment)
