tegangan menengah dan tegangan rendah dalam mendukung fungsi jaringan distribusi
kelistrikan sesuai standar PLN maupun SNI yang berlaku.

4. ANALISIS JATUH
Jatuh tegangan merupakan besarnya tegangan yang hilang pada suatu penghantar. Jatuh
tegangan pada saluran tenaga listrik secara umum berbanding lurus dengan panjang saluran
dan beban serta berbanding terbalik dengan luas penampang penghantar. Besarnya jatuh
tegangan dinyatakan dalam persen atau dalam besaran Volt. Besarnya batas atas dan bawah
ditentukan oleh kebijaksanaan perusahaan kelistrikan. Perhitungan jatuh tegangan praktis
pada batas-batas tertentu dengan hanya menghitung besarnya tahanan masih dapat
dipertimbangkan, namun pada sistem jaringan khususnya pada sistem tegangan menengah
masalah induktansi dan kapasitansinya diperhitungkan karena nilainya cukup berarti.” (Buku

Listrik, Bag 2.1 tentang Jatuh Tegangan)
a. Sesuai standar SPLN 72:1987 tentang Spesifikasi desain untuk Jaringan Tegangan Menengah
(JTM) dan Jaringan Tegangan Rendah (JTR), pengaturan tegangan dan turun tegangan
ditentukan sebagai berikut :
i. Turun tegangan pada JTM dibolehkan 2% dari tegangan kerja untuk sistem Spindel dan
Gugus.
ii. Turun tegangan pada JTM dibolehkan 5% dari tegangan kerja untuk sistem radial.
iii. Turun tegangan pada Transformator distribusi dibolehkan 3% dari tegangan kerja.
iv. Turun tegangan pada Saluran Tegangan Rendah (STR) dibolehkan sampai 4% dari
tegangan kerja.
b. Besarnya jatuh tegangan antar terminal pelanggan dan sembarang titik dari instalasi tidak
boleh melebihi 4 % dari voltase pengenal pada terminal pelanggan.” (SNI PUIL 2011, 2.2.3

c. Direkomendasikan bahwa secara praktis drop voltase antara awal instalasi pelanggan dan
perlengkapan sebaiknya tidak lebih dari 4 % dari voltase nominal instalasi. Kondisi temporer
seperti transien voltase dan varian voltase karena operasi abnormal dapat diabaikan.” (SNI

d. Untuk konduktor, arus pengenal dianggap sama dengan KHA. Arus pengenal (untuk perlengkapan)
adalah arus yang ditentukan oleh pabrikan untuk kondisi operasi yang ditentukan dari suatu
perlengkapan rated current. Kapasitas hantar arus (KHA) (kontinu) merupakan arus maksimum yang
dapat dihantarkan secara kontinu oleh suatu konduktor, gawai atau apparatus,
pada kondisi yang ditentukan tanpa suhu kondisi tunaknya melebihi nilai yang ditentukan
(continuous) current-carrying capacity.” (SNI PUIL 2011, 14 MOD istilah dan definisi)
e. Konduktor sirkit akhir yang menyuplai motor tunggal tidak boleh mempunyai KHA kurang dari 125 %
arus pengenal beban penuh. Konduktor sirkit akhir yang mensuplai dua motor atau lebih, tidak
boleh mempunyai KHA kurang dari jumlah arus beban penuh semua motor itu ditambah

25 % dari arus beban penuh motor yang terbesar dalam kelompok tersebut. Yang dianggap

5. KESIMPULAN
Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh dari analisis ini,maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa kabel yang
digunakan pada instalasi Jaringan Tegangan Menengah (JTM) dan Jaringan Tegangan Rendah (JTR)
pada Proyek Pembangunan Dockyard PT. Barito Galangan Nusantara sudah sesuai dengan kaidah
kalkulasi dan spesifikasi teknis, standar, regulasi, dan kode nasional yang berlaku di wilayah
Republik Indonesia.
