The Republic Act no. 4670, also known as The Magna Carta for Public
School Teachers, provides the understanding of the right of a public teacher,
and also it protects the rights of a teacher just like its freedom and its benefits
that fit on their designated work. The act emphasizes that the teachers-
applicants must meet the minimum educational qualification such as the
competitive examinations and must undergo proper training for them to be
recognized as a public teacher.
With this law, we can guarantee our future if I(we) plan to become a
public teacher. It helps us to prepare ourselves to meet those qualifications to
become one. With this law, we can identify what are the benefits of becoming
a teacher in public. And we should put in our minds that we teachers or future
teachers should always render our duties and obligations so we can call
ourselves a professional. As future teachers, we should attend a lot of training
to become disciplined and effective teachers
Republic Act No. 6713
Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees
The Act simply emphasizes that all public officials and employees
should exemplify the essence of being a role model to the society and must
render service to the public and bring their duties with the highest liability,
honesty, and patriotism. Individuals who conduct an unethical and
unacceptable deed to society will be charged with penalties. The Republic Act
no. 6713 also known as The Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for
Public Officials and Employees aims to provide and to promote an
understanding of each role of public officials and employees of the society.
That every individual must be responsible for their actions and must protect
the public interest over personal interest.
This law widens our knowledge that every individual has their own role
in the society, most especially those people who become public officials and
other professionals, people who render their duties in public become role
models in the eyes of the young ones. As a learner, reading this law widens
our eyes that we should follow the law and act that are acceptable to the
community or society. We should be responsible for our actions, people who
commit unacceptable deeds will be punished according to the law. Knowing
this law will serve as a guide to us learners whichever we decided to become
a professional who renders duties to the public
The law commands that we should act accordingly, most especially the
teachers. Individuals with uniforms become role models of society. As future
teachers, we must follow the rules as what is written on the law especially we
will meet innocent young eyes someday. As a future teacher, the advantage
of knowing this law is we should act based on the law. It written there what
should a teacher always do and we should put our heart into our job with
patriotism.
Education act of 1982
The Batas Pambansa no. 232 also known as The Education Act of
1982, the act providing for the establishment and maintenance of an
integrated system education aims to emphasize what are the things that must
be inside of schools, including the policies, education system, duties and
obligations, and also the rights of every personnel working on a school and
also it provides the latest and more specific provision on rights, duties and
parents relation to education. It aims to regulate the educational system of a
school at all levels both public and private schools. The law provides quality
education to the learners and it promotes the rights of all citizens to promote
quality of human development and liberation. The schools from public and
private schools should and must apply this law to their objectives or
educational system.
The Republic Act no. 7836 also known as The Philippine Teachers
Professionalism Act of 1994 emphasizes the professionalism of a teacher or
the teacher-applicant. For teachers able to promote quality education, they
must take the licensure examination, the examination will tell if the teacher
qualified for the teaching profession. The Act aims to regulate and mandate
the professional licensure exam for teachers to make teaching a profession.
