The Magna Carta For Public School Teachers

The Republic Act no. 4670, also known as The Magna Carta for Public
School Teachers, provides the understanding of the right of a public teacher,
and also it protects the rights of a teacher just like its freedom and its benefits
that fit on their designated work. The act emphasizes that the teachers-
applicants must meet the minimum educational qualification such as the
competitive examinations and must undergo proper training for them to be
recognized as a public teacher.

As a learner, knowing this law makes me realize that the life of a

teacher is difficult most especially to the public teacher. Those teachers faced
a lot of struggles and training before becoming official public teachers. A
teacher must be treated equally and must avail their own freedom. They
should meet the qualification before becoming one. As we all know, teacher
rights are human rights too, teachers should always be respectful and must
enjoy all the privileges to their designated work or at school.

With this law, we can guarantee our future if I(we) plan to become a
public teacher. It helps us to prepare ourselves to meet those qualifications to
become one. With this law, we can identify what are the benefits of becoming
a teacher in public. And we should put in our minds that we teachers or future
teachers should always render our duties and obligations so we can call
ourselves a professional. As future teachers, we should attend a lot of training
to become disciplined and effective teachers
Republic Act No. 6713

Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees

The Act simply emphasizes that all public officials and employees
should exemplify the essence of being a role model to the society and must
render service to the public and bring their duties with the highest liability,
honesty, and patriotism. Individuals who conduct an unethical and
unacceptable deed to society will be charged with penalties. The Republic Act
no. 6713 also known as The Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for
Public Officials and Employees aims to provide and to promote an
understanding of each role of public officials and employees of the society.
That every individual must be responsible for their actions and must protect
the public interest over personal interest.

This law widens our knowledge that every individual has their own role
in the society, most especially those people who become public officials and
other professionals, people who render their duties in public become role
models in the eyes of the young ones. As a learner, reading this law widens
our eyes that we should follow the law and act that are acceptable to the
community or society. We should be responsible for our actions, people who
commit unacceptable deeds will be punished according to the law. Knowing
this law will serve as a guide to us learners whichever we decided to become
a professional who renders duties to the public

The law commands that we should act accordingly, most especially the
teachers. Individuals with uniforms become role models of society. As future
teachers, we must follow the rules as what is written on the law especially we
will meet innocent young eyes someday. As a future teacher, the advantage
of knowing this law is we should act based on the law. It written there what
should a teacher always do and we should put our heart into our job with
patriotism.
Education act of 1982

Batas Pambansa No. 232

The Batas Pambansa no. 232 also known as The Education Act of
1982, the act providing for the establishment and maintenance of an
integrated system education aims to emphasize what are the things that must
be inside of schools, including the policies, education system, duties and
obligations, and also the rights of every personnel working on a school and
also it provides the latest and more specific provision on rights, duties and
parents relation to education. It aims to regulate the educational system of a
school at all levels both public and private schools. The law provides quality
education to the learners and it promotes the rights of all citizens to promote
quality of human development and liberation. The schools from public and
private schools should and must apply this law to their objectives or
educational system.

As a learner, the importance of knowing this law is that we should avail

and experience service as we learn in school. Most especially to the teacher,
we all know that the teacher is the source of knowledge, whatever they
discuss in front of our eyes become our weapon to fight our future and we
bring those learnings for the rest of our lives. If we plan to become a
professional that serves the public especially in line with education, all the
rights, duties, and obligations were written on this law. As a learner, we
should earn our rights and privileges at school as we gain knowledge.

Teachers are the most important persons in school because they

become the source of knowledge, a knowledge that is imparted to the
learners. It was written on the law that teachers should always render their
duties. The advantage of knowing this law as a future teacher is that we will
know what are the roles of each person in schools both public and private
institutions. And the law state that each individual has its own right and
responsibilities. It aims to have a proper education system for the learners.

Republic Act No. 7836

The Philippine Teachers Professionalism Act of 1994

The Republic Act no. 7836 also known as The Philippine Teachers
Professionalism Act of 1994 emphasizes the professionalism of a teacher or
the teacher-applicant. For teachers able to promote quality education, they
must take the licensure examination, the examination will tell if the teacher
qualified for the teaching profession. The Act aims to regulate and mandate
the professional licensure exam for teachers to make teaching a profession.

As a learner, the importance of reading this law widens our

expectations of becoming a teacher. A teacher is the one who promotes
quality education, the work of a teacher is not easy they applied for this
profession. They undergo a lot of training to be an effective teacher here. As a
realization, if we planned to choose this profession someday, we should take
the licensure exam for teachers for us to become effective and qualified
teachers. It is important to take the exam, it will benefit us to become
knowledgeable, competitive, and flexible teachers.

The importance of this law, as future teachers we should prepare

ourselves for the exams for us to be qualified teachers. It is important to take
the qualification licensure exam, so we can determine whether we pass and
are qualified to be a teacher. As we pass the exam we should render our
duties and give our best to teach the future learners of ours.
Republic Act No. 6728

Government Assistance To Students and Teachers In Private Schools

The policy providing good quality education to all Filipino people is

mandated and regulated by the constitution of the country. The State shall
provide a mechanism to improve the quality education of private institutions
by maximizing the resources of the school. The assistance provided by the
government must be base on its criteria such as the overall performance of
the school and the financial needs of the students. The Act aims to provide
and prioritize those students who require financial assistance, the act ensures
that all schools must provide scholarships to all learners enrolled in a private
institution. And also it assists the private institution in the development of the
school.

As a learner, it is important to learn or to know this law because we can

identify or determine our right or benefits as the member of the institution and
the society as well. As a learner, we should receive help coming from the
school or the government such as the discounts or scholarships for us to
acquire a good quality of education and every Filipino people should always
avail this education and support. And also, the government should always
support the institution for any projects or expansion, the government should
provide funds base on the needs of the school.

As a future teacher, the advantage of knowing this law is that

government should always support the needs of its society most especially in
schools with those lacking facility or the institution that don’t have enough
facilities to support the education of the learners. In return, we can teach the
learners with all our best. And these privileges and support must avail to all
institutions or schools across the nation.
