Role: Pre Sales Consultant-Customer Analytics & Intelligence (CA & I)

 Reporting to: Pre-Sales Head of C A& I Line Of Business(LOB)


 Working hours: 40 per week ( 5 full days, Monday – Friday)

Key Accountabilities
The Pre-Sales Consultant is responsible for presenting Portrait’s product offerings to prospects,
partners and customers to evoke confidence in Portrait’s proposed solution and remove all business
and technical objections to the sales cycle.

In order to achieve this, the Pre-Sales Consultant must have a strong desire to leverage their
business, technical and sales skills including the ability to solicit business requirements, develop a
sales strategy and effectively demonstrate the solutions that address these requirements and
provide business value.

The role will support the direct sales operations in the markets of the India & SAARC.

Key Responsibilities
 Provision of business and technical support to the sales team
 Understanding and assisting with business case development
 Product positioning
 Managing and addressing queries and concerns with Portrait’s proposed solution
 Development of solution propositions and collateral including presentations and
demonstrations
 Managing responses to RFIs/RFP’s
 Supporting partners in indirect sales
 Scoping and managing proof of concepts and demos
 Provide input from Sales into Product Development.

Key Skills
The Pre-Sales Consultant must be able to work in a team environment and also capable of delivering
independently of additional support and represent the company to the highest standards at all
times.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have:

 6-8 Yrs Experience of working in a large business-to-consumer industry such as financial


services or telecommunications or within a marketing service provider
 Experience of working within a direct marketing team with responsibility for one or more of
the following activities:
o Campaign planning and design
o Campaign selection
o Campaign analysis and reporting
o Response modelling and targeting
o Predictive modelling for retention
o Customer insight
 The ability to demonstrate knowledge of the technology, required functionality and business
benefits that a business-to-consumer organisation requires for a direct marketing operation

The following skills are desirable for this role:

 Pre-Sales experience (including bid response and product demonstration activities)


 Presentation of campaign results, business case or customer insight
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills
 Commercial awareness of business to consumer industries
 Ability to work under pressure and deliver to deadlines
 Willingness to travel

Selection Process
As part of the selection process candidates will be expected to deliver a presentation on a topic of
their choosing that demonstrates their ability to meet the presentation requirements for this role.

Noida, India
Education
Preferably, Bachelor of Engineering with Strong exposure to Data Mining, Statistical analysis,
predictive modelling, Forecasting, Optimization and Mathematical Programming.
