 GLOSSARY

 User: a person who uses or operates something.

 Icon: An image representing a file, drive, folder, or other item.

 Database: A very flexible data storage system that allows information to be

organized in a very efficient way.

 Application: A program that performs a series of functions and with which we

work on the computer.

 Login: To identify oneself and gain access to a computer by means of a

username and password.

 Password: Personal secret key.

 Program: A group of instructions used to perform certain tasks. Also called

applications.

 Inventory: An ordered list of goods and other valuables belonging to a person,

company, or institution.

 Process: Processing or set of operations to which a thing is subjected in order to

elaborate or transform it.

 System: The hardware and software that make up the essential part of the
computer.

 Server: Equipment that controls the access of users to a network and provides
them with service and information.
 DESCRIPTION

TEXTILES MATHILU SAS is a textile workshop located in the municipality of Guarne,

Antioquia, dedicated to the manufacture of garments in industrial quantities, except
leather garments.

This project consists of a basic input inventory software with which the company
Textiles Mathilu SAS will be able to keep a controlled and organised record of the
general information of each product that is used, in order to obtain precise information
and data about the processes that are carried out within the company.

This manual is addressed to the final users of the system, where the steps and controls
for a correct use of this system are explained.
1. USER REGISTRATION: The user enters their basic data to create the account
that allows them to manage and navigate the system.

2. USER VALIDATION OR ACCOUNT RECOVERY: The user enters some data

that allows the system to verify the user's identity in order to avoid problems in
the future.
 3. CREATE PROFILES: The user creates a profile in the system with basic data to
determine how the user can access the system.

4. INVENTORY NAVIGATION: Here the user has access to the inventory of all the
products with their different specifications which are used for the different
production processes of the company.

The different modules that make up the system are presented below.
5. CREATE: The user can create or add a new product with its various
specifications.

6. MODIFY: The user can modify or change data previously created products.

7. CONSULT: The user can search or consult the different products in the
inventory.
8. DELETE: The user can delete the different products present in the inventory.

MAINTENANCE TASKS

 Constant verification of users.
 Increase security by changing passwords periodically.
 Perform backup Tasks.
 The system will be operated in Windows 10, Android, Linux, MAC OS, mobile
devices.
 List of solutions to basic problems.
 APPENDIX (WARNINGS)

 To register in the system for the first time, the user must fill in all the data
requested for a correct registration.

 The user must verify the account by means of a mobile phone number or an
email address.

 The user must enter the data correctly in order to be able to enter the system
correctly.

 In case the user forgets the password, the system provides the method by which
the user can reset the password by means of an e-mail.

 When entering data into the inventory, the user must be careful not to enter
products with the same description in order not to generate problems in the
system.

 When you process any movement and you think you made a mistake, to resolve
it you must create another process that can resolve the problem. You cannot fix
back the movement once you process the transaction.
