INTRODUCTION TO TOGGLE CLAMPS

What is a Toggle Clamp
A toggle clamp is a fastening device that usually
consists of a handle to control the device , A holding bar
to grip the work piece , and a linkage system of pivot pins
and levers to boost the applied force once engaged
the toggle clamp essentially becomes locked.
A toggle clamp typically serves to secure an object tightly
in order to prevent it from moving or separating when
inward pressure is applied.

with all parts galvanized prior to assembly,
Clamps are supplied with tempered and galvanized
clamping screw (grade 8.8) added with special flanged
washers and nuts, Unique high graded orange grip specially
made for comfort handling & also which can withstand
in high and low temperatures specially designed hardened bushes
for more life cycle of our clamps.

Toggle Actions
Toggle action principle operate through the linkage system
of levers and pivots, The fixed length levers are connected by the
pivot pins which supply the action and clamping force.
Toggle action as an over center lock position once its in the
over center position the clamp cannot move or unlock
unless the linkage is moved

Holding Capacity
All MI Toggle clamps are selected by their holding capacity
each toggle clamp are tested in all aspects and the holding capacity
is calculated when toggle clamp locked in closed position without
creating permanent deformation, Force is measured at the closest point
to the base and diminishes as the end of the bar reached

Clamping Force
Clamping force is the force applied while closing the clamp
which is measured between the bar and the component
clamping force cannot be calculated exactly as it depends
on operator and clamping position of component
