DATE 08 July 2013 In the interest of the service and pursuant to the provisions of existing laws, the amended guidelines for the grant of authority to travel abroad at no government expenses are hereby adopted: 1 The: applicant ‘shall gibt a. leter-eanen ee 2. With an approved application ‘for leave of absence of not more than thirty (30) calendar days (except in meritorious cases approved by the Secretary); 3.. With the following attachments - a. The written permission and recommendation of the head of * office with. a certification that the proposed travel will not adversely affect the delivery of public service; : b. certification of no pending administrative case; ¢. certification of no backlog of work assignment/cases for resolution or disposition, as the case may be, for more than sixty (60) days duly approved by the head of office; for those with pending assignments/cases beyond sixty (60) days, that these shall be resolved or disposed before the intended date of travel.4, The letter-request shall be submitted at least fifteen (15) working days prior to the date of departure.
