Used Goods Sale This Weekend!
Saturday, May 22nd (Rain Date Sunday, May 23rd)
Start your spring cleaning and donate your quality used goods to Bishop’s Used Goods Sale!
We are excited to bring this event back with some modifications to adhere to COVID-19
guidelines. This year we welcome books, sporting goods & gear, toys & games, baby gear,
bicycles, arts & crafts, household goods, knick-knacks and jewelry.
In keeping with the spirit of the Used Goods Sale, the PTO has been spring cleaning and will
offer discounted spirit wear for sale the day of the event. Come check out our sale and
grab a few items to help show your Bishop pride!
How to Donate:
● Items need to be clean, in excellent condition and “ready to be priced.”
● Box your lots (such as mixed Legos) in CLEAR BINS
● Label your CLEAR BIN (Harry Potter Legos, Grandma’s Waterford, etc)
● Bring large items “as is” (i.e., bikes, strollers, small furniture, etc.)
● Box up your books and drop them off in the Book Nook
Pricing Items:
● Please donate items that are Brand New or used items that are valued at $50 or
more.
● For those items less than $50, please PRICE them and drop them off in a cardboard
box labelled "ALREADY PRICED." We'll have price stickers at the Drop-Off if you want
to price your stuff then.
● Price items around 1/4 to 3/4 what you paid for them, depending on condition and
rarity/desirability
● When in doubt, price on the higher side. This year the "Half-Price Sale" will start at 12
pm and at 1 pm everything left will be free.
● No need to price books unless you have a boxed set or limited edition type.
● It is helpful to put a note on items saying "All 1000 puzzle pieces are here" or "missing
the dog in this Monopoly game” or "bike was bought at Wheelworks in 2008 for $500"
All goods can be dropped off on Friday, May 21 from 3-5:30 PM in the Bishop Parking Lot.
In order to make this event a success, we need volunteers to help on drop off day, as well
as the day of the event. Please sign up here. Contact Amy Moyer at
aewilliams@hotmail.com with questions.
Thank you for your Used Goods donations- we're looking forward to a fun event!
