SUMMARY:
Request approval to award to Sprinturf, LLC as low bidder for the replacement of SHHS Kermit Tipton Stadium
Synthetic Turf Replacement including the installation of an infill topdressing system as per attached that
includes CHA's letter of recommendation.

Below is a schedule we received from Sprinturf for Science Hill HS, from NTP to field completion.
1.Contract Execution/Submittals: 3 weeks, 5/17 to 6/4
2.Turf Production and Delivery: 4 weeks, 6/7 to 7/2
3.Onsite Construction (Removal/Replacement): 4 weeks, 7/5 to 7/30
For item 3, they are figuring a week for the turf removal and base work, and three (3) weeks for the turf
installation.
We will work with Sprinturf on streamlining this schedule as much as possible on the front end. We can get
approved shop drawings back to them in a timely manner so they can start the production process and
potentially improve on the back end completion date.

Insurance- pending approval

Request also includes authorizing the Mayor to sign contract documents when ready.
