1. Introduction

In the face of competitive demand for a job vacancy in the job market, companies are
increasingly adhering to differentials that allow to narrow the number of candidates who
register for the job vacancy. Some company among many, request the presentation of a
letter of introduction, in the job application, different from the letter of presentation of a
company for admission, which would be the letter of a company declaring or presenting
that candidate for future hiring by another company.

The present work intends to systematize the knowledge about the qualities for hiring in
a company. For its implementation, the bibliography review method was used, the
teaching manual, module of the Portuguese discipline. The structure of the work was the
introduction, development, conclusion and bibliography.

4. Conclusion

Finished the work of the English course with the theme: job application letter, in which
we find that in most of the advertisements to offer employment, candidates are required
to submit curriculum vitae, because through it we get a quick and clear view of the most
important stages of a person's professional career.

It was also seen that Curriculum vitae is a Latin expression that means life's journey and
consists of the document in which a job seeker makes himself known to a company or
institution. It is one of the tools that employers use to select their employees.
The purpose of the work is to show models of a letter of request for employment in any
company or institution from an advertisement for vacancies. However, our letter
requested a vacancy at the company StarTime in the province of Nampula based on the
vacancies announced on the 20th if January 2021 on the INFROMOZ digital platform
website.
