 Why Erdogan Is The Prophesied Mahdi: A Quranic Proof

Abstract

The Mahdi is a man who will emerge at the end times and fill the world with justice and equity
according to Islamic tradition. This paper presents important verses of the Quran which related to
the end times and the Mahdi. And the numerical analysis of these verses leads to the fact that the
current president of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan to be the prophesied Mahdi.

Introduction

Mostly the stories narrated in the Quran taken as something that passed away and has nothing to
do with the future. However, if one examines the Quran very carefully he will understand the fact
that Allah convey the future events through the past stories.

Allah said:

َ ‫َّللاُ أ َ ْن ي ُِح هق ْال َح هق بِ َك ِل َماتِ ِه َويَ ْق‬

‫ط َع دَابِ َر‬ ‫ش ْو َك ِة ت َ ُكونُ لَ ُك ْم َوي ُِريد ُ ه‬
‫ت ال ه‬ِ ‫طائِفَتَي ِْن أَنه َها لَ ُك ْم َوت ََودُّونَ أ َ هن َغي َْر ذَا‬
‫َّللاُ إِحْ دَى ال ه‬
‫َوإِذْ يَ ِعد ُ ُك ُم ه‬
َ‫ْالكَافِ ِرين‬

“And (remember) when God promised you (Muslims) one of the two parties that it should be
yours, you wished that the one not armed (the caravan) should be yours, but God willed to justify
the truth by His Words and to cut off the roots of the disbelievers”. (Quran 8:7)

Verse 7 of Sura al Anfal informs us that Allah promised for the Muslims either of the two parties
who are armed and strong but the Muslims wished the third party which is not armed and weak.
The Prophet hadith narrated in Sahih Muslim indicates the fact that the Muslims will be grouped
into three at the end times during the great war or the Malhama. And one third will flee in fear of
the enemy as described in the above verses of the Quran and Allah will not accept their repentance,
one third will be killed and they are the best of martyrs before Allah, and the one third will prevail.
Mathematical analysis of the above verse of the Quran indicate the following facts:

Evidence-1
The total verses from Sura al-Fatiha to verse seven of Sura al-Anfal are 1167. And the great father
of the Ottoman Turks Suleyman Shah is born in c.1167.

Evidence-2

Allah said:

‫س ُه ْم ِمنها َعذَابٌ أَ ِلي ٌم‬ َ ‫ت َعلَيْكَ َو َعلَى أ ُ َم ٍم ِم هم ْن َمعَكَ َوأ ُ َم ٌم‬

ُّ ‫سنُ َم ِتعُ ُه ْم ث ُ هم َي َم‬ ٍ ‫س ََل ٍم ِمنها َوبَ َركَا‬ ْ ِ‫قِي َل يَا نُو ُح ا ْهب‬
َ ِ‫ط ب‬

“It was said: O Nuh! Disembark, with our peace, and blessings upon you. There are also other
people (from their progeny) whom We shall allow to enjoy themselves for a while, and then a
painful chastisement from us shall afflict them.” (Quran 11:48)

In this verse Allah mention about a people who will come from the progeny of the people of Nuh.
And Allah will grant them their pleasure for a time and at the end a painful torment will reach
them. Amazingly, this story was mentioned in verse 48 of Sura Hud of the Quran. And the State
of Israel also was established in 1948.

The total verses from Sura al-Fatihah to Sura Hud till ‘‫س ََل ٍم‬ ْ ‫ ’قِي َل َيا نُو ُح ا ْه ِب‬are 1520. And Sulaiman
َ ‫ط ِب‬
the Magnificent (Kanuni Sultan Suleyman) succeeded his father as Sultan in 1520.

The total verses from Sura al-Fatihah to Sura Hud till ‘‫س ُه ْم ِمنها َعذَابٌ أ َ ِلي ٌم‬
ُّ ‫ ’ث ُ هم يَ َم‬are 1521. And Suleyman
the magnificent first captured the gate ways to central Europe and the Mediterranean Belgrade and
Rhodes in 1521 [1]. This is the first sign of Allah for those who can see and understand.

Evidence-3

From verse 7 of Sura al-Anfal where the word ‘not armed or the caravan’ mention to verse 42 of
Sura al-Anfal where again ‘the caravan’ mentioned, there are 34 verses. This might indicate the
fact that Madinah will be conquered by the Mahdi in 2034 and Makkah will be conquered in the
same year.

َ‫َّللاُ أَ ْم ًرا َكان‬

‫ي ه‬ ِ ‫الر ْكبُ أ َ ْسفَ َل ِم ْن ُك ْم َولَ ْو ت ََوا َعدْت ُ ْم ََل ْختَلَ ْفت ُ ْم فِي ْال ِمي َعا ِد َولَ ِك ْن ِليَ ْق‬
َ ‫ض‬ ْ ُ‫ِإذْ أ َ ْنت ُ ْم ِب ْالعُد َْوةِ الدُّ ْنيَا َو ُه ْم ِب ْالعُد َْوةِ ْالق‬
‫ص َوى َو ه‬
َ َ‫َّللاَ ل‬
‫س ِمي ٌع َع ِلي ٌم‬ ً ُ‫َم ْفع‬
‫وَل ِل َي ْهلِكَ َم ْن َهلَكَ َع ْن َب ِينَ ٍة َو َيحْ َيا َم ْن َح ه‬
‫ي َع ْن َب ِينَ ٍة َو ِإ هن ه‬

“(And remember) when you (the Muslim army) were on the near side of the valley, and they on
the farther side, and the caravan on the ground lower than you. Even if you had made a mutual
appointment to meet, you would certainly have failed in the appointment, but (you met) that God
might accomplish a matter already ordained (in His Knowledge); so that those who were to be
destroyed (for their rejecting the Faith) might be destroyed after a clear evidence, and those who
were to live (i.e. believers) might live after a clear evidence. And surely, God is All-Hearer, All-
Knower”. (Quran 8:42)

This coincides with the fact that the Arab spring (the great war or malhama) started in 2010, seven
years after Erdogan become the Prime Minister of Turkey. And the Prophet prophesized that the
great war lasts for 18 years and that there will be six years between the great war and the conquest
of Medinetun Nebi. Thus, Medinetun Nebi will be conquered by the Mahdi in 2034 [2].

This war might occur due to the fact that a man (this might be a Saudi king) from the Quraysh will
claim to be the Prophesied Mahdi. And the Prophet (pbuh) described the event as follow:

‘because of a man from among my family, who will claim that he is of me, but he will not be of
me, for my friends are the people of Taqwa.’ (Abu Dawood, 4242)

Evidence-4

Allah said:

ُ َ‫سأْت ُ ْم فَلَ َها فَإِذَا َجا َء َو ْعد ُ ْاْلَ ِخ َرةِ ِلي‬

‫سو ُءوا ُو ُجو َه ُك ْم َو ِليَدْ ُخلُوا ْال َمس ِْجدَ َك َما دَ َخلُوهُ أ َ هو َل َم هرةٍ َو ِليُتَبِ ُروا‬ َ َ ‫س ْنت ُ ْم ِِل َ ْنفُ ِس ُك ْم َوإِ ْن أ‬
َ ْ‫س ْنت ُ ْم أَح‬
َ ْ‫إِ ْن أَح‬
ً ِ‫َما َعلَ ْوا تَتْب‬
‫يرا‬

“(And We said): "If you do good, you do good for your ownselves, and if you do evil (you do it)
against yourselves." Then, when the second promise came to pass, (We permitted your enemies)
to make your faces sorrowful and to enter the mosque (of Jerusalem) as they had entered it before,
and to destroy with utter destruction all that fell in their hands”. (Quran17:7)

The total verses from Sura al-Fatihah to verse 7 of Surah al-Isra' where ‘ِ‫’فَإِذَا َجا َء َو ْعد ُ ْاْلَ ِخ َرة‬
mentioned are 2036. This might indicate the fact that the Mahdi will conquered and entered
Jerusalem in 2036.

Similarly, in Sura Nur verse 36, Allah informed us about a people (clearly, these are the people
who are guided by Allah to his Nur or a physical star on earth that might be used as a weapon to
liberate the holy land) who will enter the city and praise him in that city (Jerusalem). Allah said:

َ َ‫سبِ ُح لَهُ فِي َها بِ ْالغُد ُِو َو ْاْل‬

‫صا ِل‬ َ ُ‫َّللاُ أ َ ْن ت ُ ْرفَ َع َويُذْك ََر فِي َها ا ْس ُمهُ ي‬
‫ت أَذِنَ ه‬
ٍ ‫فِي بُيُو‬
‘(Those who are directed to this light) praise him in the morning and in the evening, in the house
(al-Aqsa mosque or Jerusalem) which Allah has allowed to be raised and wherein His name is to
be remembered’ (Quran 24:36)

Evidence-5

The total words of Sura Hud from ‘‫س ََل ٍم‬ ْ ِ‫ ’قِي َل يَا نُو ُح ا ْهب‬to ‘ َ‫ ’إِ هن ْالعَاقِبَةَ ِل ْل ُمتهقِين‬are 37. This might indicate
َ ‫ط ِب‬
the fact that gog and magog will be destroyed in 2037.

This also coincides with the fact that the great war ends in 2028. And Madinah and Makkah will
be conquered by the Mahdi in 2034, six years after the great war ends. And also the great Dejjal
will appear in 2035 and killed by Eisa aleyihiselam. Finally, gog and magog will be sent by Allah
and will be destroyed in 2037 [2].

Evidence-6

Verse 7 of Sura al-Anfal has 23 words and the ottoman Islamic empire is collapsed in 1923. Further
in the same Sura, the total words from the verse ‘ُ‫َّللا‬ َ to ‘ َ‫’ولَ ْو ك َِرهَ ْال ُمجْ ِر ُمون‬
‫’و ِإ ْذ َي ِعد ُ ُك ُم ه‬ َ are 30. And
Erdogan was born 30 years after the Ottoman Islamic empire was collapsed.

The following verses of the Quran might be regarding Erdogan as they are related with important
years in Erdogan’s life (born in 1954, become president in 2014, coup attempt in around 2015/2016
etc.)

ٍ ‫س ْلنَا ِإلَ ْي ِه ُم اثْنَي ِْن فَ َكذهبُو ُه َما فَ َع هز ْزنَا ِبثَا ِل‬

‫ث فَقَالُوا ِإنها ِإلَ ْي ُك ْم‬ َ ‫) ِإذْ أ َ ْر‬13( َ‫سلُون‬ َ ‫اب ْال َق ْريَ ِة ِإ ْذ َجا َءهَا ْال ُم ْر‬ ْ َ ‫َواض ِْربْ لَ ُه ْم َمث َ ًَل أ‬
َ ‫ص َح‬
15( َ‫ش ْيءٍ ِإ ْن أَ ْنت ُ ْم ِإ هَل ت َ ْك ِذبُون‬َ ‫الرحْ َمنُ ِم ْن‬ ‫) قَالُوا َما أَ ْنت ُ ْم ِإ هَل َبش ٌَر ِمثْلُنَا َو َما أَ ْنزَ َل ه‬14( َ‫سلُون‬ َ ‫ُم ْر‬

‘And put forward to them a similitude; the dwellers of the town, when there came Messengers to
them. When We sent to them two Messengers, they belied them both, so We reinforced them
with a third, and they said: "Verily! We have been sent to you as Messengers. They (people of
the town) said: "You are only human beings like ourselves, and the Most Beneficent (God) has
revealed nothing, you are only telling lies.’ (Quran 36:13-15)

ُ ُ ‫ت أ َ ْل َواحٍ َود‬
)15( ‫) َولَقَدْ ت ََر ْكنَاهَا آ َ َيةً فَ َه ْل ِم ْن ُمده ِك ٍر‬14( ‫) تَجْ ِري ِبأ َ ْعيُ ِننَا َجزَ ا ًء ِل َم ْن َكانَ ُك ِف َر‬13( ‫س ٍر‬ ِ ‫َو َح َم ْلنَاهُ َعلَى ذَا‬
 ‘And We carried him on a (ship) made of planks and nails. Floating under Our Eyes, a reward
for him who had been rejected!’ And indeed, We have left this as a sign, then is there any that
will remember (or receive admonition)? (Quran 54:13-14)

Conclusion

The aim of this paper is to present and analyse important verses of the Quran which are related to
the end times and the Mahdi. And the numerical analysis of these verses leads to the fact that the
current president of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan to be the prophesied Mahdi.
