Body Criteria (First Draft)
Organization The student has divided the paper in terms of titles and
2 pts. subtitles in an organized way.
The student exhibits a proper organization that relates each
subtitle to the title of the section in particular and title of
the report in general.
After each main title, the student gives sufficient
information that introduces the content of the relevant
section.
The titles and subtitles are in harmony with the content to
be covered.
The student follows the proper format provided in terms of
numbering for sections and pages, margins, spacing,
writing fonts and style.
Citation The citations used are relevant and they contribute to the
2 pts. development of ideas in the sections.
The student presents the citations properly.
The student has avoided plagiarism and successfully cited
the material he/she has used.
The student uses sources that are written in English.
All the three techniques of citation, i.e., direct quotation,
paraphrasing and summary, have been used equally.
Language The student exhibits proper academic language use in
2 pts. terms of grammar and vocabulary.
The student shows the ability to use suitable tenses and
connectors.
Vocabulary choice and range are in parallel with the topic
and level of the report.
