Emily Dickinson 1830-1886

Dickinson was born and lived most of her life in Amherst , Massachusetts .
Though she was very social in her early life , as the years went on she became

more and more reclusive , and the exact reasons why are unknown . Mast of

her poetry was published posthumously , with her first volume of poetry was

published in 1890.
