Hi Eileen

Thanks for your email. It’s great that you considered how to make your workplaces
more environmentally friendly. You are very welcome to visit us here some time and
you may get more ideas. But, in the meantime, here are four of the easiest and the
most effective ideas.
1) Employees can read documents on the computer and don’t print them out. Print on
both sides even if it is necessary to print. By doing this, paper waste is reduced.
2) Fit automatic lights which switch off when there is no one in the room. Everything
that's powered by electricity requires the use of energy. In this way, People leave
the room but forget to turn off the lights will not happen, thereby reducing
unnecessary electricity loss and the energy is saved.
3) Put food waste in special bins. Use the waste to make compost for office plants.
You will create better air for people to breathe if you put plants in your offices.
Using the waste water helps plants grow more flourish. Like that, you can not only
breathe fresher air, but also recycled the waste and the use inof water is reduced as
well.
4) Set up waste paper recycling bins in the office. Put the fully used paper into the
recycling bin and accumulate a certain amount of waste products that can be sold.
In this way, the paper is recycled and economic benefits are created for the office.
I hope this helps and you are very welcome to discuss if you have more ideasany
ideas that you might have.
All the best
Lana
