How would we raise fund or who are fundraisers?

We raise fund using different strategies like public relations, influencer marketing, Direct
marketing etc. to inform and persuade the people about our cause, vision and mission of IBIT to
serve the society and make a generation who are very crucial for betterment of country.

We involve volunteers from staff/faculty, students and Govt. official as fundraisers to assign
different tasks like social media campaign, Content marketing campaign to create awareness in
publics for contribution in our cause.

Audit

The government has authority to audit of international and local non-governmental

organizations (NGOs) operating in the country in accordance with National Action Plan/Act-2014 for
security challenges.

Govt. officials and authorities which are present in IBIT/PU will take action against those individuals
which are found involved in 'suspicious' activities.

The past records of the NGO and their activities are also closely scrutinized during the audit. Sources
said the inquiry will focus on cooperation between NGOs operating in Pakistan and their relations with
other countries.

Investigations into the entry and departure of staff into the country over the past three years are also
under investigation. Earlier this week, the federal government rejected the registration applications of
42 non-governmental organizations (NGOs) due to objections raised by agencies on foreign funds after
they were placed on the gray list of the Pakistan Financial Action Task Force (FATF).

Sources of funding for NGO like IBIT:

IBIT rely on a variety of resources to finance projects, operations, salaries and other overhead costs.
Since the annual budget of IBIT can be in the hundreds of millions (or billions of dollars), fundraising
efforts are crucial to the survival and success of IBIT. Granted sources include membership fees, sales of
goods and services, private sector organizations for profit, charitable foundations, grant and private
donations from local and state and federal agencies.

Individual private donors account for a significant portion of NGO funding. Some of these donations
came from wealthy individuals. However, most NGOs rely on a large number of small donations rather
than a large number of small donations.

Despite independence from government, most NGOs rely on government money to operate. Some
government NGO funds can be seen as controversial because these funds support certain political goals
rather than the country’s development goals.

As a non-profit, NGOs rely on a variety of sources for funding, including:

Membership dues

Private donation

Sale of goods and services

Funding from other nonprofits

Government funding
