TOPIC: Recap of THICK & THIN

LEARNING OUTCOME:
At the end of this lesson, child will be able to

• Distinguish between thick and thin objects


• Acquainted with the terms Thick and Thin.
• Compare a few objects and identify which is thick and which is a thin object
RECAPITULATION:
Ask the learner to pick a thick object from the surrounding and then ask to pick a thin one.

Step1: Bring a thick pencil and a thin pencil


and explain learner the concept of thick and
thin.

Step 2: Let the learner hold both the pencils


and judge the difference in them.

Some tips for happy scavenging!
Plan an area e.g. kitchen, bedroom and living room, keep the items on eye level for learners
to easily see. Use the same objects used in the previous activity.

Start the game.


• Ask the learner to get the objects one by one.
• Ask the learner to mention the object as thick or thin and then the object name. For
E.g. Thick book, thin bottle, thick brush etc.

Note: Kindly allow learners to do task on their own while you observe and help only when
required. Do give them small rewards like stars or a clap after finishing each task.
