EXCERPTS from the minutes of the special board meeting of the Parents & Teachers
Association held on February 5, 2020, 9:00AM at Marilog High School of Agriculture
convened for the purpose of requesting a covered court that will be used for barangay
activities and school-related activities.

BOARD RESOLUTION NO. 1, SERIES OF 2020

WHEREAS, through this resolution, the school would like to request for a Covered Court.

WHEREAS, the said covered Court will be used as Evacuation Center in times of natural
calamities and disasters.

WHEREAS, the covered court will be used during graduation and other special ceremonies
of the school and/or the barangay.

WHEREAS, the covered court will also be used for school-related activities and sports
events such as monthly programs and culmination, intramurals, line-meet and unit meet
events.

WHEREAS, the existing covered courts in the barangay are located far from the school; the
students need to cross the street and walk approximately 400 meters.

WHEREAS, the covered court will contribute greatly to the holistic development of the
students by engaging in sports-related activities.

THEREFORE, RESOLVE, as it is hereby resolved that this PTA Board Resolution be

attached to the principal’s letter requesting for the materialization of the proposed covered
court.
