1. *dacing “ Hello Song”:
- Play the music

CHECK IN - Sing the song in chorus

2 *  Introduce the greeting:
- Introduce himself/ herself to Ss in English
- Wave the hand or shake the hand of the puppet or of a student and say : “Hello”
- Direct the hand to the chest to tell the name: Hello, my name is Billy.
Lead in 5 mins
- Give Ss some name tags or put them on the desk before Ss and greet some Ss
- Ask S1 to stand up and the class turn to him, waving hands and say Hello, my
name is….
Presentation
3 * Play audio and have students listen. Play audio and have students point to the pictures in
part A. Play audio and have students sing the song as a whole class. Divide class into two
groups. Group A: sing the alphabet.
Group B: sing the echo. Swap roles and repeat.
T’s presentation 15 mins
* Draw attention to the pronunciation feature. Play audio. Have students listen and repeat
with a focus on the feature.
4 Play the “Magic finger” game
1. Demonstrate the activity. 2. Divide the class into pairs. 3. Have Student A write ten
numbers (0-9) on Student B’s back, using their finger. Student B writes the numbers down.
Practice 1 10 mins
4. Then have Student A ask “What’s your phone number?” and have Student B answer
using the numbers they have written down “It’s _______.” 5. Afterwards, have some
students demonstrate the activity in front of the class.
5 Break Time 5 minutes
6 * Play audio; have students listen and point to the pictures in part A. Have students sing the
