Our precision engineered range of CO2 Recovery Plant is available in various capacities and models as
per the clients’ specific requirements. These are designed as per client specifications and can store
liquids and gases under high pressures. The Co2 recovery plant we design and manufacture for clients
is a fully automated plants, which is meant to recover the revert Co2 gas and has the capacity of
handling large quantity of carbon dioxide every hour. It is manufacturing from best quality stainless
steel in order to avoid any sort of problem related to corrosion in future. Some of the features of the
range we offer. Ashirwad Co2 Recovery plants are fully automatic and use a low concentration,
efficiently and safely produce highest and purest quality of liquid carbon dioxide.

Each Plant is assembled and tested to the fullest extent possible and finish painted in our factory
(Assembly done) and at Clients Site (Complete trial run). Plant Construction is done very carefully by
selecting proper and suitable raw material to give a good balanced between plant life, strength and

Co2 Recovery Plant Process Description:-
First we are getting raw gas from Fermenters and then we will take this gas in to our system then we
take gas in foam trap where we remove the foams come along the gas and then with the help of
booster blower we will push the gas in to the chain/series of scrubbing systems consists of pre water
scrubber, Kmno4 scrubber with dosing facilities and then after water scrubber. In this chain of
scrubber we wash the co2 gas by means of water and then raw gas gets buffer in a buffer vessel and
then it goes to two stage co2 compressor where it compresses up to a desired pressure and then raw
gas goes to the Dual tower activated carbon filter where the odor of raw gas removed and then raw
gas enters into the high pressure precooler and then enters into the Dual Tower co2 dryer and then
into the liquefaction system and Nox Removal Tower and then the liquid goes directly to the Storage
tank where the gas stores for a particular period of time.
This Continuous process is efficient, reliable and safe and also meets the international food grade
quality standards and can be used in soft drinks companies, breweries and many more related sectors.

Foam Trap & Co2 Scrubbing Systems The ACI CO 2 Gas Scrubber removes water -soluble impurities in
one highly efficient operation. This is achieved by utilizing
“packing” as opposed to the classic design random packing.
Features include:
• Scrubber Fully automatic operation.
• Once-through scrubbing; no recirculation pump required.
• STAINLESS STEEL construction.
• STAINLESS STEEL liquid distributor.
• STAINLESS STEEL “packing”.
• Piping, valves, and make-up water flow indicator.
• Automatic drain trap.
• STAINLESS STEEL demister as well as in-line moisture separator
prevents water carryover to the balance of the system.
• Flow Switch included for when Recovery not underway and gas
is being received from Bright Beer Tanks.
Co2 Gas Compression CO 2 Compressor is a compact, easily installed, durable and
smooth running machine. The compressor is a non-lubricated (oil-
free), two (2) stage, stationary type machine, specifically designed
for use in CO 2 applications where the slightest petroleum
lubricant cannot be tolerated. Features include:
• “V” section belt drive assembly includes Compressor, flywheel,
motor pulley, matched set of “V” belts and belt guard.
• Compressor, motor and inter- and aftercooler are packaged on a
common steel base plate for concrete foundation mounting.
• STAINLESS STEEL intercooler and combination high pressure
aftercooler/precooler complete with moisture separators and
traps.
• Teflon piston rings and Teflon piston rod packing.
• STAINLESS STEEL cushioned valves for quiet, smooth valve
action.
• Valves easily accessible for routine inspection/maintenance.
• Crankcase is of high strength cast iron.
Carbon Filters The ACI CO 2 Purifier/Deodorizer is designed to remove impurities
including dimethyl sulfide, alcohols, esters and ketones not fully
removed in wet scrubbing.
• Dual tower arrangement - one tower operating while the other
is regenerating.
• Stainless Steel construction.
• Initial charge of specially prepared activated carbon.
• Stainless Steel piping and valves.
• Safety relief valves and pressure gauges.
• Full automation to allow for auto switchover of towers and
operation of hot air regeneration equipment.
• Hot air reactivation system including air blower and heater.
(Note : Reactivating air temperature is staged to allow for proper
regeneration.)
• Carbon dust after filter.
Dual Tower Dryer Dual tower desiccant type dryer with internal reactivation dries
the CO 2 gas, thereby eliminating the formation of frost and
possible freeze-up in the CO 2 condenser.
• Desiccant type, dual tower, electrically reactivated CO 2
Dehydrator.
• Outlet maximum dewpoint –62.2
°C at 17.2 Bar g.
• Towers are automatically alternated on a dewpoint demand
cycle with the off-stream tower being reactivated while the on-
stream tower is drying the CO 2 gas.
• Automatic reactivating, purging, and cooldown cycle.
• Coalescing prefilter is provided on the inlet side of the CO 2
dehydrator, ensuring liquid droplet-free CO 2 gas entering the
desiccant beds.
• Desiccant Dust Afterfilter is provided on the outlet side of the
CO 2 dehydrator, ensuring dust- free CO 2 condenser operation.
Automatic on-line and Manual Dewpoint Tester provided.
Liquefaction System The ACI CO 2 Liquefying System of the ammonia -cooled, cascade
type is designed to liquefy Co2 vapour
Control Panel The PLC system provides remote control and monitoring of
system operation. It utilizes a Siemens S7 Programmable Logic
Controller.
