Design Course at Amity University, Jaipur

Master of design, or M.Des, is a 2-year postgraduate degree program aimed at those with a strong

interest in the creative industry. National Institute of Design [NID] Gandhinagar, National Institute of

Fashion Technology, Industrial Design Centre, Indian Institute Of Technology, and others are among

the top colleges in India that offer the course. In India, a master's degree in architecture is divided

into four semesters. For three semesters, students study various major and minor courses in the

fields of User Experience & Interaction Design, Industrial Design, and Visual Communication, among

others, with each student presenting an industrial dissertation in the final semester.

A Master of Design is a program that focuses on design practices and creative skills in a number of

Amity School of Fashion Design and Technology (ASFDT) is a world-class academic and research

Studio of Fashion: ASFT students took part in thrilling activities such as designing completely

Lab for Garment Construction: Students receive hands-on training for designing garments under the

guidance of trained faculty members, with an emphasis on the global fashion industry and fabric

textures. Students create prototypes for intricate learning, which they then use to further turn their

theoretical understanding into practical experience. They have access to well-equipped

embroidering and sewing devices. Practical courses are held on a regular basis. ASFT has also held

seminars to encourage participants to come up with new ideas and displayed a variety of machines.

Lab for Dyeing and Printing: Students are given a forum in the printing and dyeing lab to understand

and learn about different types of dyes and printing techniques. ASFT has also held workshops for

students to learn various traditional and modern dyeing and printing techniques, in addition to daily

practical training. ASFT also arranged an exposure trip to Sanganer and Bagru, where students

learned about different techniques such as Shibori, tie-dye, block-printing, and digital printing.

CAD Lab for Fashion: The Fashion CAD lab is well-equipped with cutting-edge hardware and

software. Professionals instruct students on how to use various techniques and design software to

create various projects for use in other laboratories.

Scholarship for programs following after Under Graduate

Criteria for 100% Scholarship: In Class XII, students must reach a minimum of 93 percent in

aggregate and 80 percent in graduation in CBSE/ ISC/ State Boards. The sum does not include

Physical Education, Fine Arts, Performing Arts, Vocational, or non-written subjects.

Criteria for a 50% Scholarship: Minimum of 88 percent in aggregate in CBSE/ ISC/ State Boards

Class XII students and 75 percent in graduation. Physical Education, Fine Arts, Performing Arts,

Vocational, and non-written subjects are not included in the total.
