ECONOMY???”
Today, we are living in a
world fully surrounded by
technology. We are living
a life which was once a
dream for others. In this
21 century, the
globalization and the
technological
advancement is growing at
a rapid note. Adopting
technologies are very
important for the socio-
economic growth of the
country. Businesses need
to adopt technology for the
organizational innovation
which can improve the
overall productivity of the
organization. When these
businesses flourish they
support the economy. .
Let’s take an example of
one of the world’s largest
company “APPLE Inc.”
Apple is known for its
innovations. It is one of
those big brands who
always come up with New
and attractive products and
because of these ideas they
hold a really huge market.
The apple’s market
capitalization is much
more than the GDP of
many countries. Apple
claims that it has given
jobs to 2.4 million US
people and it will
contribute 350 billion
dollar to the US economy
by 2023.
Though, it is the general
concept that technological
advancements have a
negative impact on jobs or
it eliminates the jobs of
employees but on the
other hand it creates new
job opportunities as the
nature of work changes.
Organizations just need to
teach their employees
about these changes.
Companies are now
running their businesses
online which simply cut
their costs; they don’t
need to run big outlets. It
also eliminates the
maintenance cost etc. also,
by adopting the
technology they are now
easily connected with their
customers worldwide.
Entering in a global
market is also become
easy for them.
Unfortunately, Pakistan is
one of those countries
who just use these
technologies and never
play their part to introduce
something new. And even
it doesn’t adopt and use
high level technologies as
the world is using.
Pakistan’s IT department
is also facing many
problems like: We don't
have proper availability of
internet; we have lack of
E-commerce Facilities
like e-trade, e-payment,
Internet marketing, etc.
and the major issue is that
Pakistan has lack of
businesses who can really
invent something new
which can attract the
global market. So,
Pakistan should take major
steps to resolve these
issues. There should be a
proper platform for the IT
students to show their
creativity and innovative
ideas. This step of
developing new
technological gadgets will
surely improve the
condition of Pakistan. It
will help in boasting the
economy as the labor cost;
investments will be cut off
due to the technological
advancements. When these
businesses will grow they
will invest more in a
country. The tax
collections and other
business activities will
directly or indirectly
support the country’s
economy.
