FAILURE CODE: DPA050

DESCRIPTION:

1. Introduction
• With some of the monitor panels being used for the large-sized hydraulic excavators of
PC600-6 and up, functional failures such that "when the starting switch is turned on,
the service meter reading turns back from the previous reading which was appearing
when the starting switch was turned off" or "the service meter reading lags behind the
actual operating hours" may occur.
• When the aforementioned functional failures are found to be occurring, make the
modification following the procedures being outlined in this Service News to replace
the monitor unit with the improved one. After finishing the replacement work, set
the service meter referring to the Service News AT97087.
Remark) The aforesaid failure phenomenon can also occur when the power circuit to the
monitor panel goes out of order but, in this case, the error code "E1:02" will be
memorized in the error history. Therefore, check and make sure the error
code "E1:02" is not being stored in the error history before implementing this
modification.
