or cable ladder and support installation, support and accessories works along the pipeline
structure for the EPCC of 24 inch pipeline extension from LgT-2 to LgT-1 pipe rack T-
junction. Refer figure 1 And Figure 2 for work location.

LGT-2 Area -
2.5 New cable ladder and trays will be installed in accordance with the layout
drawings.
2.6 As far as possible cable ladders and trays will be fully accessible from at least one
side along the complete route length.

2.7 Manufacturer’s standard items will be used for changes of direction and elevation
of runs. Where items are unobtainable and fabrication on site is necessary, the
quality will not be less than that required for manufactured items.
2.8 Cable link ladder system will be installed to ensure electrical earth continuity
throughout the run.
2.9 Supports for horizontal cable ladders and trays will be spaced according to the type
and width of cables and trays and weight of cables run on it.
2.10 Supports for vertical cable ladders and trays will be spaced at approximately 1
meter intervals.
2.12 Install all the accessories, earth cable and cover of the new cable ladder.
2.13 Where any treated or coated material is cut, or drilled the exposed surfaces will be
treated immediately with zinc primer and epoxy topcoat.
2.14 Care will be taken to ensure that water will not collect or remain in any part of the
cable ladder system.
2.15 Site inspection and housekeeping are carried out to ensure conformance of the
installation work.
2.16 Inform to LGT project owner when work completed and closed PTW.
Jetty Area-

3. SAFETY PRECAUTION
3.1 PPE
a. All workers shall wear proper PPE such as white color safety helmet, safety glass and
safety shoes at all time.
b. Only double lanyard safety harness is allowed. Use of safety belt is prohibited.
c. All workers shall wear the life jacket while work at jetty area.
3.2 Communication
a. Pre briefing shall in form of daily tool box and pre task meeting
b. All contractor will provide with own radio communication to ensure all parties are
well communicated, especially when working at height at pipe rack over than 2 m
height.

3.3 Environment
a. Work at height shall be stop/suspend upon confirmation with the Project Owner if
weather conditions, such as heavy rain, haze or glaze will impact the visibility.
The Cable tray or cable ladder and support installation are being carried out at LgT-2 And
Berth 8. Refer to Figure 3 and 4 below for the access and egress location of work.

Working at height at the pipe rack shall wear double lanyard safety harness. No safety belt is
allowed to be used for this work.
