2. CONFESSION OF SIN

L : Let us confess our sins to almighty God

C : Almighty God, our heavenly Father, we have sinned against You and against our
fellow men, in thought and word and deed, through negligence, through
weakness, and throughour own deliberate fault. We are truly sorry and repent of
all our sins. For the sake of your Son Jesus Christ, who died for us, forgive us all
that is past; and grant that we may serve You in newness of life to the glory of
Your name. Amen.

world.

4. THANKS GIVING
L : Let us stand to thank God for His goodness
C : Almighty God, Father of all mercies, we Your unworthy servants give You most
humble and hearty thanks for all Your goodness and loving-kindness to us and to
all men.
We bless You for our creation, preservation, and all the blessings of this life, but
above all, for Your immeasurable love in the redemption of the world by our
Lord Jesus Christ, for the means of grace, and for the hope of glory.
 Give us, we pray, such a sense of all Your mercies that our hearts may be truly
thankful, and that we show forth Your praise, not only with our lives but in our
lives, by giving up ourselves to Your service, and by walking before You in
holiness and righteousness all our days; through Jesus Christ our Lord, to whom,
with You and the Holy Spirit, be honor and glory, forever and ever. Amen

L : Berilah keadilan kepadaku, ya Allah, dan perjuangkanlah perkaraku terhadap
kaum yang tidak saleh! Luputkanlah aku dari orang penipu dan orang curang!
C : Sebab Engkaulah Allah tempat pengungsianku. Mengapa Engkau membuang
aku? Mengapa aku harus hidup berkabung di bawah impitan musuh?
L : Suruhlah terang-Mu dan kesetiaan-Mu datang, supaya aku dituntun dan dibawa ke
gunung-Mu yang kudus dan ke tempat kediaman-Mu!
