OBJECTIVES

• The purpose of this thesis is to provide considerations and alternatives related to planning the
development of clean water distribution networks in Cimahi Tengah District.
• The objectives of this thesis are:

1. To increase the coverage of clean water services in Cimahi City by distributing clean water
distribution systems in Cimahi Tengah sub-district.

2. To determine clean water distribution channels to serve drinking water needs in Cimahi
Tengah District.

3. To prepare a draft budget for the distribution line design to be made.

2
AREA DESCRIPTION

• Central Cimahi District is one of

the sub-districts in Cimahi City.
• Central Cimahi District itself
consists of 6 villages, namely
Baros, Cigugur Tengah, Cimahi,
Karangmekar, Padasuka and
Setiamanah.
• UPT Air Minum Kota Cimahi is
curently the serving center for
Cimahi City

3
EXSISTING CONDITION

• Currently the service serve 2 sub-districts

in Cimahi Tengah district, they are
Cigugur Tengah and Karangmekar.

5
PLANNING

• Currently serve 2 sub-districts

• Cigugur Tengah
• Karangmekar.

• Plan is to upgrade and extend the

water distribution to whole of
Cimahi Tengah district
• Padasuka
• Setiamanah
• Baros
• Cigugur Tengah.

SCORING ATTRIBUTE CRITERIA

• Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method is a simple and most frequently used multi
attribute decision selection technique.
• Based on average weighting.
• Requires a decision matrix normalization process (x) to a scale that can be compared
with all available alternative ratings

CONCLUSION

• In the distribution system development plan for Central Cimahi District, the debit of
135.55 L / second is aimed at improving the services of the Sub-Districts Baros, Cigugur
Tengah, Karangmekar, Setiamanah, Cimahi, and Padasuka.
• Based on the high difference in elevation, the distribution system uses a gravity system.
• The total budget for the selected system costs is the total procurement of pipes plus the
total cost for installing pipes is Rp. 11,414,250,877.28
