Maximum permitted indentation of seal ring is Imm Knock out the old seal ring with pin inserted in the holes intended for this purpose Fitting: Press the seal ring into the groove with straight planed board, which should be placed across the ring. Knock carefully on the board directly above the ring, first on ‘one side and then on the other side of the ring Turn the board by steps and drive the ring into the groove as evenly as possible NOTE If the ring is too narrow, place it in hot water (70-80°C) for about 5 minutes. If it is too wide, it will shrink after drying in 80-90°C for about 24 hours. Deformation of seal is natural for nylon. If deformation causes problems during fitting, place in hot water for about | minute and then seal will restore to it proper shape
