LINKED TO THE PREVIOUS TOPIC Topic tackled last LAC session focused on the “School –Based
Education for Drug Abuse Prevention”
It is important to conduct drug education in the school with
the partnership of the stakeholders to continually raise
awareness about the dangers of drugs and drug abuse.
As we give importance to drug abuse prevention, we should
also not forget the events of yesterday. History Education
focuses on reading and writing. Students hone critical thinking
and communication skills in a history class.
LINKED TO THE NEXT TOPIC History can bring happiness, whether it is reading a good
book or learning something new,history provides for a more
enriching life.It gives hope for the future, learning about the
past provides enlightenment and illumination.
Teachers will discuss the topics focusing on innovative
teaching strategies in history and the local history of the city,
to ensure that learning is evident inside the classroom.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES a. to understand the importance of local history in order to

inculcate a sense of nationalism among students;
