TOPIC: Technology as a Way of Revealing

Answer the following questions.

1. What would have happened to humankind if technology did not exist?
 It depends on technology we decided to get rid of. If you are referring to modern
technology, a world where transportation is limited, everything is made locally, fewer
wars will happen and a lot more people would be outside workers and players.
Education, would be one of the biggest losers in this change of removing technology.
you also remove some knowledge towards individual beings. Perhaps it’s sometimes it
is for the better to not know certain things in life.
 The impact on mankind would be enormous. Chaos, wars, a mass starvation and a
dramatic thinning of the population would be a result. But even if all knowledge of
previous techniques would somehow disappear, mankind would reinvent technology.
Our brain is complex enough to persist on the use of tools, refine them and push the
boundaries forward. Probably our way to this new tec would be different. But it would
guide us to information technology again. And it would become exponential again.

2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of technology to humans?

Advantages
 Mobile technology: We are able to talk to our friends and relatives who are
living far from us.
 Internet: We are able to learn new things and online courses.
 Cab services: We are able to travel from source to destination with one tap
and within limited time.
 Social networking: We are able to find our childhood friends, relatives and
important events in their life.
 Information technology: We are able to share information to any part of the
world with in milliseconds.

Disadvantages
 Mobile technology: Instead of taking care personally we are sending
messages or giving a call that too on important occasions.
 Internet: With the use of same internet children are getting addicted to
online games and their physical activities, exercises are becoming less.
 Cab services: The same cab services are giving health problems for their
workers and creating environmental threats.
 Social networking: The same social networking is creating problems
between best friends and making couples divorced.
 Information technology: Regular and continuous viewing of computers
badly affects eyes, brain and other parts of body.
