TITLE OF THE MODULE: Operating System and Language Translators

REAL-LIFE SITUATION: Assume you work as an IT technician in ENEO Cameroon and you have as task to generate all bill receipts for a region, say North West at
once with a command to the system “Generate All at once” and when you hit the button, all the receipts start generating.

- What types of operating systems exist?


- Which type of operating system can solve the problem stated?
- What are the advantages and disadvantages of the types of operating system stated in “II” above?

LESSON TITLE: Types of operating systems and evolution.

ACTIONS:

-Students will be able to define the different types of an operating system.

-They will be able to recall and recognize different parts of the operating system

-They will be able to differentiate between types of operating systems.
