Robin Williams was an american actor and comedian.

He was born in Chicago Illinois on 21th July,

1951.

His father was a senior executive in ford and her mother was a model. His family was wealthy.

Robin was a good student, he had an excellent marks and sports awards.

In 1967 the Williams family moved to Marina County, California. In that city he found his love for
the theater. Then he travelled to New York to begin his studies in an act academy.

In 1976, when he finished his studies, returned to San Francisco and began performing stand-up
comedy thanks for his improvisational skills and do variety of voices

He rose to fame playing the alien Mork in the Tv program Mork and Mindy, this program was very
famous in USA.

In 80’s he began in the big screen, his first movie was Popeye, this movie got bad reviews, but
after that he made successful drama movies like Good Morning, Vietnam, Dead Poets Society,
Awakenings, The Fisher King

For those movies he was nominated for Oscar´s awards. The critical thought that he was a
fantastic dramatic actor but, in the 90’s his principal roles in the movies ware no dramatic and he
became recognized for his comic movies.

He won Oscar award for his role in the drama movie Good Will Hunting. From that moment he was
recognized as a versatile actor.

During his career he won many awards but also won difficult problems with drugs, alcohol and
family

He had three wife’s and two sons Zachary and Cody and a daughter Zelda.

On 11th august, 2014, robin Williams died at his home in California. He committed suicide by
hanging.
