AIRBUS 320 & BOEING 737NG

GENERAL & COCKPIT PRESENTATION:

 Airbus 320 and Boeing 737NG are classified as narrow-body aircraft with Twin-engine
subsonic medium range aircraft.

 The cockpit is equipped with adjustable seats for two crew members & third occupant seat.

 The controls of most aircraft systems are located on the overhead panel.
FWD section including the system panels,
AFT section including mainly the circuit breaker panel.

 The Flight Control includes the EFIS controls and is used for control and monitoring of the
Auto Flight System. It is located on the glareshield.

 Six interchangeable Cathode Ray Tubes (CRTs) are located on the main instrument panel.

 Two of them are dedicated to the engine parameters and system display. The others are
two PFDs and two NDs.

 The standby instruments are integrated and called Integrated Standby Instrument System
(ISIS).

 The side consoles stowage, oxygen masks.

 Several control panels are located on the center pedestal in both aircrafts.

o Thrust levers and thrust reverser levers,
