CHAPTER 1
PREFACE

01. Purpose of Topographic and Bathymetric Survey Work

The survey and drawing of river and drainage is aimed at the preparation of a
good complete and eligible map for planning of the JEDI Project. The map will
contain elevation and planimetric data which is clear, accurate and in
accordance with field condition being surveyed. The cross section will be
performed the sediment surfaces and bed level of canal, drainage or basin. The
longitudinal profile will be performed right and left bank height, sediment height
and bed level. The strips map will be completed by contour interval will be 0.5
m for flat areas and 1.0 m for hilly area.
