1) on March 21,2020, Guyana has been paid US$55 million for its first cargo of
crude oil sold in February and the country will receive royalties from production
by ExxonMobil in its Liza-1 field on the offshore Stabroek Block next month.
This will help Guyana economy to grow and will help the country to develop
and for future growth.

2) On May 4,2020, Guyana’s Liza-1 oil field has produced over eight million
barrels of oil since extraction started last December and its top projected
capacity of 120,000 barrels per day is expected to be attained by early June
2020, this will impact the economy of Guyana by getting funds for future
development and to help the country economy.

3) On April,22,2020, Offshore workers at ExxonMobil are placed at a private


city observation facility, and must undergo a 14-day observation period before
they are allowed to fly onboard, as part of mitigation and rigid safety measures
against the novel coronavirus Disease (Covid-19), the company yesterday
confirmed. This is a good measure taken by the company, so that workers
cannot get the virus, which will affect them from worker and that will slow
down the economy of Guyana, since oil has become such a major part of the
economy.
