• We have had two events done by me in the name of Loy Norrix
Peacejam: Clothing items, school supplies and snacks were
brought to Interfaith Apartments for our families there in need.
• Gales True Value Hardware supplied Peacejam with 8 gallons of
hand sanitizer, 4 gallons of hand soap, quart containers and
face masks. These will be put into small containers and given
to Kalamazoo's homeless through 1st Presbyterian Church
downtown when they pass out dinner in a lunch bag each
Wednesday evening.

Once we are back in school we will do Thursday morning meetings

at 7am but until then we will have virtual meetings. Students will
not be involved in anything face to face until that time. However,
getting them talking about our world and getting them connected
virtual is a step forward.

The boys and girls cross country teams have had two meets so far this year. Both
teams beat Hackett Catholic Prep on Saturday, September 12. Our top 7 boys
beat Hackett's top boy and only one Hackett girl beat any of our varsity girls.
Against Gull Lake on Tuesday the competition was tougher. The boys lost by only
one point (28-29) but our girls won (30-25). The next local race is against KC on
September 23 (Wednesday) at LInden Grove MIddle School again. The races are at 5 and 5:45pm.
