When Could You First Do This
Level If their partner replies 'No, I can't' to the first question, the student
asks 'Would you like to learn to (swim)?' 'Why/Why not?' and
Low intermediate notes down their partner's answer in the last column.
As a variation, you can have the students write about their findings
first before giving feedback to the class about their partner's
abilities.

Take it in turns to ask and answer 'Can you...?' and 'When could you first do this?' questions
with Student B. Ask follow-up questions to gain extra information and write all your partner's
answers in the corresponding columns below.
