REF: O&M of 20MGD RWPS at Wazirabad & 20 MGD WTP at Okhla for next 5 years.
Subject : Requirement of Standby Equipments at 20 MGD RWPS Wazirabad

Dear Sir,

It is hereby stated/informed that previously two pump sets were running round the
clock at above site.There were two standby pump sets installed & one pump set as
spare/standby. Now,since 04/05/2021 as per instruction of OSD to Mem(WS), three
pumps are running round the clock.Pump house is designed to run two pumps at a
time, Accordingly transformers and panel at L.T. side installed with standby.But now,
two pumps are running on one transformer & another on second transformer.
Therefore in case of any breakdown,there will not be a standby transformer,ACB of
3.3 KV at LT Side and motor pumpset.
In view of above it is required to purchase/make arrangements following identical
equipment installed at above site.

1) Transformer - 1 No.
2) Motor Pumpset - 1 No.
3) Air Circuit Breaker - 1 No.
For uninterrupted water supply from above site, the department is requested to
make arrangements for above standby equipment or permit us to purchase these
equipment in principle.
