Proxy Marketing (PM)

Some basic terms in Proxy marketing

Jenny- The one who buys and reviews product. Is the buyer whom we are looking for.

Aslam Bhai- Usually a BC student, but can be any seller

Lead- The one which needs reviews.

PMM (Proxy Marketing Manager)- Those who have already products

Cheeni Aslam Bhai- Usually a non-Boot camp Seller. May or may not be Chinese.

VVRO- Very very real order. Involves spending time on list, adding main + competitor product and buying after question is
asked (probably next day).

Types of VVRO’S.

1) VVRO (Very Very real order)- We tell to buyer ”We don’t need review but you just buy our product”, it’s for the sales
velocity and ranking. Don’t tell him/her the name of brand, just tell the name of the store and the front picture with price ask to
spend 10-15 minutes and then add to cart.

2) Question review: Ask the buyer for asking the question and tell him to wait until you reply. 
1. Mark the best comment of the product “Helpful”. And upvote the best review.
We make everything mix.

1)ACOEAC - Add To Cart Over Existing Add To Cart.


2)POEP- Purchase over existing purchase.
You can ask the customer to buy the product second time. He can do it by clicking “Buy it again from orders”.

—Who is prime buyer? 

Answer : The buyer who buy membership and pay monthly fee

For Prime buyers delivery is free. Try to find prime buyers. If someone will ask postage refuse it as you will have to pay from
your pocket.

The buyer that have bought your product must wait for 2 days for getting the item delivered and 4 days for posting review and
amazon takes 2 days for getting the review live.

Creation of general profile on Instagram:

 Adding your interests


 Customizing your pictures
 Following your market places
 Following same influencers of interest.
 Put a human name

Creating a balance profile:


 Initially 5 to 10 likes, comments and following per day.
 Followers and following should be balanced to avoid blocking of the profiles.
Usage of #
 # helps in exploring the product niche and finding the right place and buyers to target at.
 Always follow some fitness trainer, beauty blogger, new influencers, restaurants.
Stories:
 Sharing stories of your interest, related to travelling, food, animals will help you to get followers.
Arranging pictures:
 Using any photo editing software will help.
 Making collages and beautiful attractive photos will help.
 People love to see new places and new activities.

Many amazon related groups and pages are available on Instagram and facebook groups.
 Try to avoid those groups and not to use buyers from these groups, as they are frequent buyers and they can get wiped
easily.
 They are not real genuine Jennies that we are looking for, they may be good for Chinese but not for our Aslam Bhai
 Eg: #amazon free product USA, Amazon product testers, Amazon reviewer UK, amazon free give away.

Always follow the countries:


 #USA, #UK as there are millions of followers so you can get followers.
Posting for product niche.
 Promote your product by posting your product pictures and edit them.
 This helps the followers to follow you back and when they start following try to engage with them.
Avoid using these #:
 Free, giveaway and review but you can just use for kickstart.

Stabilizing your profile :


 Follow the protocol of likes, commenting and following.
 For at least a month to avoid blocks.

Engagement with Jenny:


 Draft a message
 It includes greetings, brief introduction of yours, purpose of contract and product picture.

Requirement of Jenny:
 Should be prime account holder (free shipping)
 Good profile
 Having a Paypal account, some sellers offer gift cards, but rare.

Important information for PM:


PM must be informed by the sellers for all the terms beforehand.
For example:
Product details: like store name, keywords, price, pictures.
Refund policy:
Covering Paypal fees, yes or not.
Covering taxes yes or not
Upfront Refund or after order or after shipment or after review.

Satisfying the jenny:


 Never make wrong commitments.
 Explain the refund policy before taking orders.
 Give reassurance that you will be rebate (according to seller’s policy) in exchange of an honest review.
Order’s protocol:

 It should be pre - defined by the seller


 Is it a VVRO or simple order. (How to convince for VVRO)
 Explain to Jenny accordingly. And that in return we need a honest review.

Search what are frequently buying products in the states

TIP: Join the groups for defining trends if you are interested in NYC (New York) market place join that group.

 You should have balance on IG for followers and following. 2000 followers 2000 following

 Before sending the product picture to the customer, do some changes to the product in logo, or change the
color.
 1 JENNY 1 ASLAM BHAI, otherwise they will not be able to give review. You can use it for Chinese but
not for Aslam Bhai.

 You should use 30 hashtags max in the post.

 Check the profile of buyers (For buyers you can evaluate the healthiness of profile by reviews and ranking, the less
the better)
You can also experience when the rank is high and have 1- 2 reviews only , we call them “Virgin Jennies”.

 IMPORTANT: Ask for Paypal.


 Are you a prime account holder? (Good for Aslam bhai so that he won’t pay double amount of money, for buyer it’s for
free.)

 Upfront refund can be done when you are sure that the customer will be good after having conversation with him.

 If you deal with Chinese sellers try to stay in touch with him in Wechat rather than on FB because they have issue with
FB. Most of them are scammers so be careful. 

Scenarios from Aslam Bhai

Scenario 1: I don’t need reviews, just buying the item is enough (For increasing sales velocity).

Ask Jenny: To search for picture of the product, buy it and send by screenshot. 

IMPORTANT TIP: Get reference. Write order number, date and PayPal number. With reference It will be easier and ask the
Jenny to send it by reference. So that you don’t get confused. If she sends you screenshot you will not know which customer is
that. So, work always with reference.

Scenario 2: VVRO.

1. Going to search the product(list), once product found ask him/her to ask a question (1st type of VVRO). Tell him/her
to wait for 1 day until the question gets answered and then once she gets notified ask him/her to buy it.
 2. Add a product that has an amazon badge and 2-3 similar product to cart.  After that wait like 10-15 minutes ask to send the
screenshot so that you will be sure its correct and then drop the other products and buy mine. Better to ask within 10-12 hours to
buy it.
3) Ask to search for the best comment in your listing and then up vote the best question.
4) Look for reviews and mark helpful the best review.

ACoAC- Buy 2 products mine and competitor’s and then return the first one and leave mine in case if Aslam Bhai is ready to pay
for both then go for it!

I always encourage to have an honest conversation.  Kindly take time to read following policy for our better

My Working Policy:
•Since I am an agent and my work is to let potential buyers buy the product. In case seller does not refund amount,
you will be free to return product to Amazon and ask Amazon for full refund from seller.
•In this case, you should remove your review or leave a negative review, whatever you find suitable.
•We agents try our best to filter out scam sellers to give you a good buying experience but there is always a
possibility.

How to tackle jenny.

As you post in the group, you receive comments “Interested”. 1st st what you do is check their name with the URL it should be
same.

2nd Check his/her friends and comments, the real account should have them all.

To convince the Jenny you must explain him/her that it’s safe to buy product from you, as it’s amazon responsibility to deliver
the product. You ask them their Paypal email for refund.

 You have to mention them if tax will be covered or not.

 Get the Google sheets once you have an order.

Jenny: How do I believe you are not a scammer?

1: You are right in judging this way as people do scam too but I am here to spread positivity & improve my
knowledge & skills so I do work based on ethics. I prefer long term business relation over few (dollars).
2: Why I'll scam someone knowing that it will be my loss if someone r*t-rn prduct & give a -ve rview.
3: I can also provide the r*f-nd ss of our recent dealings if it serves the purpose.

𝗝𝗲𝗻𝗻𝘆: I can't wait much for refund & need it after shipment?
I value your inputs & wish I could do this favour but my employer doesn't allow this for now. However, I'll get
registered this suggestion.
What I can do now is to assure that it will be my responsibility to get your r*f-nd within 1-3 days once r*vi-w
goes live.

𝗝𝗲𝗻𝗻𝘆: I can't give 5* review but will give 3 or 4*?


I do follow Terms & conditions of my employer. Though I wish it was ok for my employer so that we could
have a long-term business relation but as per his T&Cs refund will be processed for 5* reviews only.
Hope you understand my position & limitation.

Problems that can be faced:


1. When money is transferred to paypal it may hold it, even though you transferred
money.
, you can say to seller to click on “shipped”.
2. Payment due: Jenny can pay and won’t be able to review, tell him/her to send the same
amount to seller and then refund it.
3. Ask the buyer before taking actions in review to let you know about the product maybe
there can be also an issue. If he gives a negative review ask him to change it but if he
won’t do it, tell him to remove it.

How to generate lead from FB

Classifications of groups

Buy/sell groups and General groups.

Buy/seller group
Better Buy and sell group because you can attach your items picture and from which market is it.

In Buy/Sell group, click Sell Something. Create a listing and post it to around groups at once,
you can share your listing to multiple group at time.

Make 1 listing per day and post it to only 10 groups daily, but at least after a week of creating
new FB.

Try to have 4 group review group out of 5, you have to add mixed groups not only amazon
related , because fb can block your account

General groups you need to make separate posts

Always Remember

 Always call yourself an agent not seller


 Always crop images before uploading them. Add text or make collage
 You can use different editing tools, for e.g, snipping tool for laptop and photo editor for
mobile. Snipping tool is recommended for laptop

Single product post:


In this post you write 1-2 lines about product and post with at least 4-5 pictures.
Pros:
1) Your product shall be visible.
2) If its in high demand then Jennies will send you message straight away.
3) Those Jennies who just surf Facebook quickly would also be able to see your product
4) Very good approach for expensive products
Cons:
1) As only 1 product is visible so less audience comes to you.
2) Probability of getting leads is much higher as compares in multiple products
3) You can only make 2-3 posts in a day. When posting single item then you can’t work
many products

Multiple product posts.


In this approach, you post multiple items in a post. You can makea it up to 80 products.
You can combine different products in 1 post and name them in the description and mention also
which market you are working in. Make photo collages also so that all your images will be
visible.

Pros:
1) Multiple products in a post increases messages from Jennies
2) You can club products of same category together so Jennies interested in those
categories can look for all products in one posts.
3) Good approach for less-priced medium demand products.
4) You can display hundreds of products in a day through this approach.
Cons:
1) Any product that is popular gets hidden with other products and its importance can’t be
shown that much.
2) Some Jennies ignore posts with multiple products because of time constraint.
3) Jennies will start ignoring your posts and consider you as garbage seller.

Create a group
If XYZ situation happens your jennies can contact you within the group. In addition to that you
will have their details.

For Instagram hashtags look for All hashtags in google/. Freebies look for that hashtag and
approach jenny, #amazonfinds, for following search for #follow on hashtags in google, to
increase your followers

Tips
 Type USA Instagram kitchen related accounts in google (If you would like to work in
kitchen niche).

 You can tell jenny that we have a small family marketing agency startup and need some
reviews.

 During searching for jennies on Instagram from mobile, check the recent posts and then
approach them.
 Start conversation with jenny with compliments then she will have a good conversation
with you.
