COVID-19, over $33.1 billion of residential real estate was sold in 2020.
Getting started as a real estate agent is simple. Ultimately, it comes down to three day-to-day
functions: representing buyers, representing sellers, and building business.
Getting Licensed
There are a few basic requirements to get licensed as a real estate agent. You must:
1. Be at least 18 years old
2. Have legal U.S. residency
3. Complete your state’s requirements for pre-license education
4. Pass your state real estate license examination
Many licenses can be acquired in less than a week and generally cost less than $1,000.
