opportunity to improve your grammar skills by doing some specific activities. Remember
you must try to write your sentences by yourself.
There are different structures, in this guide we are going to work on some basic topics by
using meaningful learning.

1 Where do you go on holiday?

In the holidays, my family and I go to a little seaside apartment. It’s my
grandmother’s apartment but we all use it.
2 What rooms does it have?
It has a kitchen, a living room, two bedrooms and a bathroom. My
brother and I sleep in one bedroom and our grandmother sleeps in
the other one. My parents sleep on the sofa in the living room.
3 What’s in your room?
My bedroom has two beds, a wardrobe and a desk. We don’t do any
homework because it’s the holidays, but we put the computer on the
desk. We watch films or write emails to our friends. There’s also a
clock on the wall. It never says the correct time!
4 Where do you put your things?
Because the apartment isn’t very big, we don’t have lots of space for
our things. We keep our bags under the beds and our clothes in the
wardrobes. Everything else is on shelves or behind the sofa. It’s
important to be very organised!
5 Why do you like it?
Sometimes it’s not very convenient because my parents are always in
the living room and our things are all over the apartment. But we love
it because we’re on the beach in two minutes!
